Jewelry Bonney Is Big Moms Daughter?

I have seen some theories about Jewelry Bonney being the daughter of Akainu or Whitebeard, i don’t think that is the case.

I believe that there is more evidence towards Bonney being the daughter of Big Mom, rather than Akainu or Whitebeard, so in this theory i will be covering:
– Some of the resemblances between Jewelry Bonney and Big Mom
– The reason why The World Government wants to keep her in their custody.

First of, their ships:


As seen in these pictures there are a lot of resemblances between Big Mom’s island and ship, and Bonney’s ship. They are both built/coated in cakes and candy.

Resemblances in appearance:

Hair color: Jewelry Bonney has, as we have seen pink hair. While for Big Mom, we haven’t directly seen her hair, but there are a few clues that her hair might be a pink color. The one time we actually saw Big Mom she is sitting/lying in a dark room, with specifically her head and hair not shown. I believe this is something Oda did on purpose so it will be more of a surprise when he reveals it later on.

In the pictures below we can see that both Big Mom’s flag and transponder snail have pink hair.

Their Lipstick/Lips: This might just be a coincidence, but I believe this might be Oda trying to show/hint to that there might be a resemblance between the two characters.

Appetite: Both Big Mom and Jewelry Bonney seem to have almost an inhuman appetite, although this isn’t too unusual in One Piece, we can for example see both Luffy and Ace having huge appetites. However both Bonney and Big Mom seem to be getting very angry if they can’t get food when they want it.

Inherited genes: All these resemblances can be linked to inherited genes. When a baby is born it inherits 23 chromosomes from the father, and 23 chromosomes from the mother. Those Chromosomes can be everything from looks to behavior, which means that Jewelry Bonney might have inherited all of the similarities above from her mother (Big Mom). Let’s add an example just in case someone can’t quite understand this, When you look at parents and their children you can often see that the child has the same hair color as one of their parents. That is because inside the genes the child has inherited from their parents, there is DNA with for example a specific hair color (often the hair color of the person it came from). It is the same with behavior and interests, a child can often inherit certain behavior and interests from their parents. This is why I think it is very likely that Jewelry Bonney is the daughter of Big Mom.

That concludes one part of my theory, now to the next one.

Why does The World Government want to keep Jewelry Bonney in their custody?

Not much is known about Jewelry Bonney’s past yet, but we know that she fled from the government and became a pirate. When she was beaten and captured by Blackbeard, Akainu himself came to retrieve her. He then says “When I heard that you had fled from the government, a chill went down my spine. But that is all over now…” This indicates that they were afraid of something when they didn’t have Jewelry Bonney in custody. My theory on this is that The World Government had her in custody in order to keep Big Mom in check. And when she escaped they were afraid of either a Yonko war, or Big Mom attacking them.
