Will Bartolomeo be the next Straw Hat Crew member?

Currently, Straw Hat crew is composed by nine members including Luffy. Heading into the New World, fans believe that Oda will add two to four new characters in the fray.

Now, we have seen that Bartolomeo is ranked ninth in the recent “One Piece” popularity contest. This is an incredibile feat considering he is a new character and it hasn’t been a year since he was first introduced. Perhaps the biggest reason for this is due to his character background. He is Monkey D. Luffy’s number one fan and fans find his antics and ‘fanboyism’ too funny. As a result, this might have given to “One Piece” mangaka Eiichiro Oda the go-signal to make him the new Strawhat crew member.
According to a report by kdramastars, Bartolomeo may join the Straw Hat Pirates after the Dressrosa Arc. Quoting the article: “Morikubo was interviewed by the Japanese press on being added to the One Piece cast of voice actors, he replied by saying “I’m glad to be part of this and I’m looking forward to working with the cast and to join Luffy and his crew”.
