With Shanks and Blackbeard fighting, their crews will also fight.
Interesting is, that from what we’ve seen so far, BOTH Pirate Crews have exactly 10 members. Coincidence? I doubt it. (Same counts for the Straw Hats).
Now you could make a case for the Blackbeard Pirates having 11 members, because of:
- Stronger the horse – He might be a Zoan user
- Blackbeard’s Crew has 10 Captains, Jesus Burgess being the 1st Captain. Blackbeard himself + 10 Captains would be 11 members.
If one of these is true, and I think it is, then the BB Pirates would have 1 more member than the Red Hair Pirates. Here is where Dracule Mihawk comes into play. He and Shanks can be considered good friends, and he would never stand still while Shanks is in great danger.
What I am getting at are 3 key matchups:
- Shanks vs. Teach
- Mihawk vs. Shiliew
- Yasopp vs. Van Augur
And if you remember the title of this thread, you know what comes next:
- Teach kills Shanks
- Shiliew kills Mihawk
- Van Augur kills Yasopp
This would lead to a whole new level of emotion & drama in the One Piece story! Luffy wouldnt be able to return the Hat, Zoro wouldnt be able to defeat the one he tried to surpass his entire life, and Usopp wouldnt be bale to reunite with his dad as a brave warrior of the sea.
This would also increase the friction/hatred between Luffy and Blackbeard to infinity. Especially Usopp, Zoro and Luffy would then have a personal vendetta against the BB Pirates, and their wish for vengeance might be a huge task for the other Straw Hats to handle, and to keep the harmony in the Straw Hat Crew. Then we would have fights like:
- Luffy vs. Teach -> To avenge Shanks
- Zoro vs. Shiliew -> To avenge Mihawk
- Usopp vs. Van Augur -> To avenge Yasopp
On a sidenote: I see Makino’s child being the son/daughter of Shanks, and in the end, Luffy will give the Straw Hat to Shanks’ child.

i don’t think the members of red haired pirates will die
the most plausible scenario is that straw hat pirates will come to their aid before it’s too long after RH pirates get defeated…. because one reason is that zorro and luffy wants to defeat mihawk and shanks by themselves so if they get killed before this ,the story wouldn’t make sense
I like the end of this theory (Luffy giving his hat to son/daughter of Shanks).killing Shank is possible, but Mihawk will not join him. Otherwise its pretty good
What makes you think ben beckman or lucy roo will do meanwhile?
Will they just stand there and watch?
And, do you really think BlackBeard can beat Shanks?
I don’t think that will happen, nor would I want it to, the point is them actually achieving their goals (which we all know will most likely be achieved) and not get blinded by something as cheap as vengeance. It was shown that Luffy could look past vengence with Ace’s death, his goal is not revenge, nor will it ever be. Nor the other Strawhat members, it would take all the magic out of their dreams and goals.
mmmm … look shanks would die and mihawk should die but how I don’t know and about that drama about uassop and Ussop it’s pretty good but it’s hard to believe maybe it will happen and that BB crew will kill them sounds good for me but there would be a factor as BB has a power that will make him kill shanks because of his up normal strength and I say that he is immortal so even if he ate two DF he won’t die first because that he is immortal and the explosion his darkness DF will through it away
so if shanks failed to kill an immortal person to let luffy go to raftle and after that they lose because of that and they know how to kill 5 stars and any immortal person and back to know about that shanks is dead and have that shock we would have the fight between those crews and then we will start that angry about history to kill 5 stars
and beat WG and then revolution army will show him self to heal strawhats and be the way to give orders and tell the news that strawhat luffy and his crew will begin the war against WG and any one with them
we should see then the fight between revolution army and and luffy alliance from kingdoms and armies and supernovas old and new and old pirates who hate WG and …. and his own crew against 5 stars and marines and cp’s armies and shishbokai (if there any shishbokai would still don’t fear luffy)

this is a fanstastic theory but Luffy will nevery forgive himself if shashank or any of his crew dies to BB. so If the story turns away in this direction it will be a very sad ending story. What i guess is Luffy will declare the great ware alliancing with the revalutionary army & shasank crew and white beard crew will help luffy to take down the world goverement and the celestial warriors the guys with the space suit’s…..
At the end luff’y will give the hat to shashank’s son….
I don’t think so. Though we are unknown about what sganks and blackbeard are doing. But if the collision between the blackbeard crew and Shanks crew happen then blackberad would surely lost. Especially tech he’s not so strong even with the devil fruit. He can only control those having devil fruit power and shanks crew none of them have that. Moreover Whitebea4d previous captain would come to help shanks to get the revenge on Marshall D Tech as he was responsible for the loss of their father White Beard and Ace. Even luffy would be involved if he gets the hint. Shankd eould have much more force in hand yhan Marshall D Tech. So he will surely at the bad disadvantage.
