MEANING OF THE “D”/IT’S NOT THE DEVIL

We all have been reading so much theories surrounding the letter D in names of important characters in OP. And mostly they say it stands for DEVIL, the ones who oppose Gods or should we say now Royalties. What i think is a bit different. The letter D stand for Death. The reason behind this is that so far we’ve got to know 9 different characters who have letter D the in their names.
Immagine
You can see in the picture that i uploaded, 4 of 9 characters are already dead. So my theory is that the D or should i say curse brings violent death to them or to people whom they love if they don’t sacrifice themselves instead. Maybe that’s what Roger knew (hearing the poneglyphs) and that is the reason why Gol D. Roger surrendered himself to Marines, because he didn’t want that curse to affect his kid – Portgas D. Ace. Perhaps they are destined to die while protecting others and there is no other way to escape death and that’s why Roger died by the hands of Marines, to protect his son. And the reason why he entrusted Ace to Garp because he Roger knew the secret behind the name and was sure that the Garp was the best choice to protect Ace considering D in his name and what it stands for. Maybe the D has a double meaning – Death and Defending (the ones you love). Garp eventually didn’t sacrifice himself to protect Ace, and Ace died – and we all now how important and loved Ace and Luffy were by Garp, even if he didn’t show it. Perhaps in future Luffy will be in mortal danger and Garp or Dragon will  die to protect him.
Now if we look upon other characters who also died in OP, we can see that they died while protecting others. So Roger and Portgas D. Rogue died protecting their son, Jaguar D. Saul died protecting Nico Robin and finally Ace died while protecting Luffy. Trafalgar D. Law was a kid and couldn’t save the ones he loved. that is the curse considering D or should i say Death of the name bearers.

MONKEY D. DRAGON’S ORIGIN: THE CREATION OF THE REVOLUTIONARIES!

Hello once again everybody and welcome back to another theory for your entertainment and my Ebola. This time we shall dive into the origins of Monkey D. Dragon and the creation of the Revolutionary Army. This will talk about how Dragon meet Kuma, Ivankov and Dr. Vegapunk.

Before I start, I would first like to say that Monkey D. Dragon was NEVER an admiral. If he was, why is Dragon so mysterious and unknown even among the marines? Who could say that the Gorosei blacklisted him and erased his existence, but that still wouldn’t make sense becausepeople do not forget so easily. The existence of Avalo Pizzaro, Catarina Devon, Vasco Shot and San Juan Wolf were erased for years and what happened when they showed up in Marineford? Random fodder marines with one glance knew their names, epithets and the crimes they commented.
    ********************

Alright. Obviously Dragon is apart of the Monkey D family, but he seems so different from his son and grandfather(still think he is a “moron” though).

All three of them are from Goa country, which consist of Goa kingdom, Foosha Village and the Grey Terminal mountains. Like Luffy, Garp was raised in the mountains.

Dragon however, was raised in the Goa kingdom with the nobles. Garp was poor so he lived in the mountains, but since he was a marine, he had the funds to get a house in Goa kingdom where Dragon was born, to ensure that his son and wife would have a good life.

Garp of course, regularly took Dragon to the mountains to train him to be a marine, and Dragon developed a sense of justice very early in life. Dragon periodically went to Grey Terminal trash heap, where he became friends with the commoners and learned the value of human life.

Seeing the difference between the nobles and commoners made Dragon upset. He believed that everyone should be equal and was disgusted with how the nobles treat the commoners like trash and kills them off without batting an eye.

Dragon wanted to change Goa kingdom, but he didn’t have the power to do so. He didn’t want to become a marine because his father was a famous Vice Admiral who had little pull with the WG. Monkey D. Dragon joined the World Government itself or more specifically, Cipher Pol.

Dragon was “special” because he was the son of Garp and because was already very intelligent and strong(due to Garp’s training), he moved up the Cipher Pol’s like wildfire.

Dragon has always been curious about his D lineage, as even Garp has no idea what it meant. Dragon got really curious and confused because of this:

The rivalry between Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp.
Both men had ‘D’ in their name but according to Garp, they apparently come from different families and have no relation to each other.

While a member of Cipher Pol however, Dragon meet two people: Jaguar D. Saul and Dr. Vegapunk, who is also a ‘D’. Like Dragon, Saul was curious about his D lineage but he didn’t think too much about it. Vegapunk however, was very curius like Dragon. They became friends and Dragon was shocked to learn of the terrible experiments the WG make Vegapunk do. Despite that, two secretly worked together to find out more about their lineage.

Dragon always believed in moral justice, but his justice is very extreme just like Saul, who easily defected from the marines to do what he felt was right. Dragon time in Cipher Pol revealed quite a bit about the lies of the WG, but that is expected with a government system. Dragon’s disgust with the WG hit a boiling point when he was promoted to the same position as these guys:

    Cipher Pol Aegis 0.

As a member of CP0, Dragon worked directly under the Tenryubitto and Gorosei. CP0 specializes in cover ups, blackmail, lies and murder and Dragon had a front row seat to the Gorosei and Tenryubitto’s corruption. He thought Goa kingdom was bad, but nothing compared to the Tenryubittos and they controlled the world. Dragon knew that freedom wouldn’t be realized as long as the current WG exist, but he still tried to change the WG from the inside.

Dragon came to loguetown 24 years ago to witness the death of a follow D that he questioned whether he was good or bad. The WG obviously says he’s a bad guy but from Garp’s stories, Gol D. Roger was a good man.

2 years after Roger was executed(22 years ago), Dragon was 100% convinced that he had no chance of changing the WG from the inside. The reason for that was because of the Ohara Massacre.

In this massacre, he learned from Kuzan that his friend Jaguar D. Saul was killed and that innocent refuges were slaughtered.

CP9 was tasked with making sure that the massacre was a success. If CP9 was informed, so was CP0 and….

Dragon overheard Clover’s speech. He knew that the WG was hiding something and it had to be destroyed. As long as the WG exist, there will be no freedom. Dragon defected from the WG but for the WG, he simply disappeared.

Dragon informed 2 people of his defection: Vegapunk and Kuzan. Vegapunk agreed with Dragon that a revolution was necessary and decided to remain in the WG as Dragon’s inside man, while Dragon carefully creates and expands his organization. Kuzan however, turned down the offer as he thought a revolution was too extreme and thought he could change the WG as a marine. Dragon never told his father because he’d knew Garp would try to stop him.
    *********************
Now then over the past 22 years, Dragon has created the most dangerous organization that the WG has ever seen.

Vegapunk is a revolutionary spy in the WG.

And Dragon’s left and right hand is Emperio Ivankov and Bartholomew Kuma.

They were with Dragon 12 years ago at Grey Terminal.

So in the timespan of 10 years, Dragon recruited Kuma and Ivankov. Lets into more detail with Kuma and Ivankov’s recruitment.
    ***********************

Ivankov was Dragon’s first revolutionary recruit. Reason I say this is because Ivankov seems to be the revolutionary who knows Dragon the best.

They even love watering snails together.

Now the question is, why did Ivankov join the revolutionaries? Well we need to recap on some things about Ivankov first.

Ivankov is the queen of Kamabakka Kingdom which translates to “Kingdom of Transvestites.”

I really don’t think transvestites are treated equally in the OP world as many men reacted indifferently to them(much like in real life). In Impel Down, the guards shouted “Look at what they are wearing!”, “What the heck are they wearing!?” and “They are dressed to kill!”

Kamabakka Kingdom is a place for freedom; where people can be what they want to be without being judged. Dragon meet Ivankov on Kamabakka island and treated him and everyone else on the island like an equal. Not only that, Dragon probably saved saved Kamabakka kingdom from WG agents who tried to destroy it. Kamabakka kingdom is just as well known as Amazon Lily, and they are famous for their body enchancing cuisine. Ivankov most likely turned down an offer to become allies with the WG, so the agents tried to back at them.

Anyways that’s just pure speculation but bottomline is that Dragon promised Ivankov to bring a world where everyone is free and Ivankov followed behind.

    ************************

Here is where things get interesting. Unlike Ivankov, it wasn’t easy for Dragon to get Kuma to join.

What Ivankov said in Marineford implies that he and Kuma had a SERIOUS fight before. Not only that, Kuma also had a serious fight with Monkey D. Dragon.

Before I get into the fight between Kuma and Dragon, we must first understand Kuma. Obviously Kuma is a bear so lets look at what bears represent.

Bear is spirit keeper of the West, the place of darkness, maturity and good harvest. From this place, Grandfather Bear gives strength, introspection and knowledge.

Bears are active during the night and day. This symbolizes its connection with solar energy, that of strength and power, and lunar energy, that of intuition. It enhances and teaches those with this totem how to develop both within themselves.

Grandfather Bear is a solitary dweller and master of his domain. This teaches us the importance of independent thinking and to seek peace in quite meditation.

Bears are sensitive to Mother Nature’s cycles. They sleep long hours in the winter living on fat stored in their bodies. It teaches us how to go within and find the resources for survival and how to remain balanced amid change. This medicine is a reminder of the great circle of life and rebirth, renewal and fresh beginnings.

Bear is the embodiment of strength and is fierce to a threat on its lair. It is not wise to come between the mother bear and her cubs, teaching us ways to always protect those we love.

In Native American mythology, bears are known as the guardian spirits of the forest.

    Smokey the Bear anyone?

Also, take a look at Kuma as a kid and that book he has. It says “Ninokin.”

    It refers to Ninomiya Sontoku.
Ninomiya was a prominent agricultural leader, moralist and economist.

    Bartholomew Kuma HATED the WG.

And that’s because the WG burned down Kuma’s village in the forest and it was no accident. Helping his people rebuild, Kuma was enraged and decided to become his people’s protector with his Paw Paw Fruit. Any trespasser would get blown away by Kuma.

Of course, Dragon and Ivankov came to the burned down forest and Kuma attacked. Dragon, who wanted to help the poor villagers, thought Kuma was responsible so he ordered Ivankov to hold off Kuma while he tended to the people. Dragon learned the truth from the citizens but before he could go anything, Kuma once again attacked him but he was able of emerge victorious.

Dragon told Kuma of his dream to destroy the WG and bring freedom to the world, but Kuma didn’t believe Dragon as he was a former WG agent. In order to be sure that Dragon was sincere, Kuma had a suggestion: when his village and forest was being burned down, Kuma repelled the pain of all the suffering villagers into a gigantic air bubble, and if Dragon can shoulder the pain of his people, Kuma will join the revolution.

Ivankov of course thought it as outrageous, but Dragon went for it. Much to the shock of Kuma and Ivankov, Dragon survived. This is where Ivankov witnessed Dragon’s inhuman vitality.

Dragon surviving that much pain was a miracle.

With hope that true freedom can be achieved for his people, Kuma joined the revolutionaries and became Dragon’s most loyal friend.
    *******************
8 years ago, Dragon’s face became known to the world as revolutionary.

It was 12 years ago that Dragon saved the commoners of Goa kingdom.

12 years ago, the Revolutionary Army became active, targeting kingdoms to recruit suffering citizens who wanted freedom. However, during one of his expeditions, there was a big incident involving the marines.

I’m speculating, but I say Dragon had a run-in with the marines(with Doberman and Akainu present) and showcased his Conqueror’s Haki to escape a kingdom with new revolutionaries in hand. Dragon’s unnatural CoC brought forth a storm and blew away a marine fleet.

The Gorosei feared this man as they recognized his description. Monkey D. Dragon became the most wanted man in the world do to him knowing about the WG corruption from being CP0 agent, being Garp’s son, being a D, him looking for the poneglyhs and leading an organization that directly opposes the WG and it will continue to grow until the WG falls.

In the future, Dragon will recruit…

Koshiro. He is not a full-fledge Rev yet, but he is an ally. He gave the revs food after their time in Goa kingdom.

    X. Drake. A marine turned pirate to pursue his own justice. Drake joined Kaidou because he wants to severe the WGs weapon shipment with the yonkou and take the said yonkou down.

CP9. They are in an alliance with Drake and believe that pirates will continue to run amok as long as the current WG exist.

    Jewelry Bonney
. Bonney hates the WG and all of her reasons for becoming a pirate will soon be gone.

Crocodile. The Croc will lose all ambition to find ancient weapons and will want to exact revenge on the WG for what they did to him.

Kuzan. Kuzan is not a revolutionary yet but he will join once Akainu and WG executes the WG Takeover.

GOL D. ROGER’S DEVIL FRUIT AND LUFFY’S CONQUEROR HAKI

Many of you believe that Roger doesn’t have a devil fruit and that he uses only haki..well i will assure you that he has one.

Before i get to his devil fruit.. do you remember the scene when Garp talks about Roger.. he said “Roger was naive and straightforward like a child, but he’d change in a sort of demon if someone hurts his crew,he’d become violent when angry and he was short-tempered and selfish

Do you maybe know who else is like this – not Luffy, but someone from real life(almost) – he appears in One Piece.. i think you will never remember it.. it’s this guy

        1

        2

Now you may think..wtf..so Roger is Klabautermann? No.. that’s stupid, but what Garp said is clearly a foreshadow.. childish, naive, short-tempered and is a demon – what we saw is not Klabautermann’s real form

So what is Roger ? ..well Roger is Hödekin or has is Hödekin-Hödekin zoan.. both Hödekin and Klabautermann are Kobolds
Why do i believe that he is the same thing as Klabautermann is.. well Hödekin is known to had a big mustache, red hat and red coat and was tall

        3

“He could turn into some sort of demon“-Garp… Hodekin and most of Kobolds are known to be childish which Roger is as said by Garp and Kobolds always took form of a human.. but almost never their real form in front of somebody.. and their real form is a demon..a nd whoever saw their real form would die – this would explain why mostly no one ever saw his true form – because everyone who fought him either died or Roger didn’t have to use his final form

Hodekin also seems like a helpful spirit, but in the end, he turns out to be DEVIL..or D like Roger

        Roger_e_Garp

You probably remember this scene.. and you know that either Garp or Roger turned off the lamp that was shining there.. but after it turned off, how did it turn back on?

Well this is where Roger’s devil fruit comes in.. Kobalds are known to be sometimes good and sometimes bad – some say they can be Light in the darkness and Darkness in the light (i think he could turn invisible by taking out the light..which would also explain why no one ever saw his true form)
Also i believe that Roger didn’t rely on this powers very much, except when he is really angry or when he is 1 v infinite enemies – so his crew wouldn’t see him

I think this was shown to be a little foreshadow for his full potential haki(that picture up there).. i think that full potential haki will be in combination with devil fruit(it can be achieved even without devil fruit).. so i think Roger used “small” conqueror haki on Garp so he could push him over the edge so Garp will keep his child safe – even though Garp was already going to do that..

You remember that Roger said to Rayleigh “I’m not dying,partner”.. i believe he is still alive as a spirit and he is at the Raftel.. now i always go between Joy Boy’s brother ,Gaban(i will explain at the end) or Roger to be on last island.. but in this theory i will go with Roger, because of few reasons – first i will tell you that Oda is fan of Jules Verne who wrote book “20,000 thousand leagues under the sea” – fishman island..and i think he will use other 3 books i mentioned in my last theories.. but for Roger he will use “A mysterious island”
In that book, main characters meet Captain Nemo, who reveals them his identity.. at the end, captain Nemo dies.. i believe that Roger still lives and waits for that someone(as Whitebeard said – and that one is not Blackbeard) on the last island.. and when that someone comes to Roger..Roger will give him something – either ancient weapon, his ship or some parts for Pluton.. but the thing i believe that Roger will give is that.. he will teach Luffy how to Conquer Darkness and Light – Roger knew how to conquer his devil fruit and with that to conquer light and darkness.. why i believe it ?

Because Luffy who is based on Sun Wukong – he pulled staff that no one else could EVER.. Luffy will pull off something that no one ever could(will learn 2 conqueror hakis).. he will be able to use two or maybe even three(Monkey D. Dragon’s) conqueror haki’s at the same time.. so Luffy vs Blackbeard will be ultimate battle 3 conqueror haki’s vs 3 devil fruits.. but Luffy can conquer darkness so he will in the end barely win – i think Luffy will be able to conquer his darkness and Blackbeard will consume himself with his darkness

At the end i said i will explain why i think Gaban will be at last island – in book Journey to the Center of the Earth, main characters meet one guy at the entrance to the center of the earth and when main characters go up from center to the Earth through volcano – reverse mountain, one guy return to his home, which is close to North pole – in one piece it will be south pole which is last island of one piece)

Hope you liked it and that this makes sense

THE REASON SHANKS VISITED DAWN ISLAND!

          Shanks.full.761242

So there has been many speculations as to why Shanks visited Foosha Village, and triggered the fateful encounter with Luffy.

I’ve have read through countless theories, and although some seem plausible, I would like to give my input as to why I believe Shanks went to Dawn Island…..The reason for that being, is that is because that is where Gol D. Rogers body is buried. I also believe Shanks went there for two reasons!

          1) Shanks wanted to pay respect to Rogers grave.

          2) Shanks went there to return the Straw Hat to Rogers grave!

Why would Shanks do that though? Roger gave him the Straw Hat for a reason, so why would Shanks go to return it? We will get to that in a minute, but first…..How did Roger’s body get to Dawn Island? Well I believe Garp is the one who brought it there. After Roger was executed, I believe Garp asked Kong (Who was F. Admiral at the time) If he could be allowed to be the one to bury Roger’s body. Since Garp is the “Hero of the Marines” and Roger’s greatest rival, I believe that is more than enough reason for Kong to allow Garp to take Roger’s body….Especially since Kong seems to hold Garp in high regards.

Now onto why Shanks went to Foosha to return the Straw Hat to Roger’s grave….I believe it is because, Roger said the same thing to Shanks, that Shanks said to Luffy when he gave him the Hat. Him and Shanks made a promise that Shanks would take care of his Straw Hat, and to come return it to him, when Shanks has made a name for himself, and became a big named pirate.

That also answers another question that has been on everyones mind…..When did Shanks become a yonko! I believe Shanks became a Yonko right before he went to Foosha Village. After Shanks became a Yonko, he headed to Foosha Village to fullfil his promise to Roger, and thats when he met Luffy! Remember Whitebeards words when him and Shanks talked? About how he was shocked that a man as powerful as Shanks came back from East Blue missing an Arm, and his signature Straw Hat? I think that was a hint Shanks because a Yonko around the time he visited Dawn Island!

I believe he saw Roger’s will in Luffy and the uncanny resemblance that Luffy shared with Roger, and instead of leaving the Straw Hat at Roger’s grave, he decided he was going to leave the Straw Hat, with the kid who he believes inherited Roger’s will, and the man believes Roger was waiting for! In a sense, Shanks has fulfilled his promise to Roger, by returning the Straw Hat to the kid who will one day carry Roger’s will, and in turn, by making the same promise with Luffy, he would ensure that Luffy would follow the path of being a pirate, and fulfill his role that Roger believed he would!

The reason why I hightlight the word promise, is because it is a major theme within One Piece…..And so far every promise we have seen so far, has been linked back to Luffy…..He fulfilled the promise of Calgara to Montblan Noland, by ringing the Golden Bell, signaling to Noland’s ancestor, Cricket the location of Sky island. I believe Luffy will fulfill the promise Joy Boy made to Poseidon, by bringing all the Fishman to the surface via the Noah. So it makes sense that if Shanks made a promise with Roger, that Luffy will be linked to that promise as well!

Fate is also a major theme within One Piece, and I believe Roger was fated to be buried on Dawn Island, which would in turn, bring Shanks to the Island….So in a sense, Roger was in fact the one who found the man he was waiting for, and set him on the path of fulfilling his role of finding Raftel, and the One Piece..

BUSOSHOKU HAKI AND ITS TRUE POWER

            True power of Busoshoku Haki.

This is a theory about what i think CoA is capable of.

Everybody already knows that Busoshoku can be used to bypass DFs, project a force as an offense or defence or used to coat things for offense or defence.

When it is trained enough, one can visibly show their haki, this technique is called CoA. Vergo mastered his CoA by obtaining full body arnament but my question is, did he really master it?

I think it can be taken way deeper than it has been shown.

There are people i speculate who have taken it higher than Vergo; Garp, Roger, Zephyr, Kong, and etc but there are two that i believe have truly mastered it.

            Rayleigh and Shanks

            ONE.PIECE.full.432781 [Animefullfights.com]

Rayleigh has the epithet “Dark King”. I dont think he is evil or was a king, i think this was a reference to his CoA. He was given the title as the king of Busoshoku, a worthy title for the 2nd in command to the Pirate King.

Shanks being part of Rogers crew it is very pausible that Rayliegh would have taught him to use haki. Shanks crew seems to represent normal humans and uninterested in DFs. He has no DF, one arm, and made Yonko status. Shanks has to have strong haki.

I strongly believe that in present time Shanks is the strongest being alive and has the best haki of anything/anyone breathing.

I think Shanks and Rayleigh have taken CoA further than anybody else in the series.

Now im going to explain what i think their CoA should be able to do.

Remember when the Admirals projected haki to deflect Whitebeards quake? The full extent of this power could projecting black barriers that work similar to Bartolomeos fruit. See? CoA has the power of an entire DF. This can be taken further by projecting things more creative than barriers, like shapes. Depending on how much imagination you have or how smart you are is what makes this power even more powerful.

Remember when Rayliegh knocked out the elephant with a blue projection? Another thing i think a master of CoA can do is produce waves that look like Ki blast. This can be taken further by making something that is similar to a Rasengan. I believe this would be a great Naruto reference, something Oda is bound to do since he and Kishimoto are so close. It also would be a quick and easy way to destroy Logia users.

The final and most deadly of the things i think that Busoskoku can do is to fill the air and the ground with it. That would give the user the basic intimidation/fainting powers of Haoshoku because Busoahoku haki that strong could have that effect, almost like physically and mentally smothering the person and will give the user the basic kenbunshoku power to sense the presence of others because they would be literally moving through the users Busoshoku, an extension of themselves.

Allo of these powers are extensions of full body CoA.

So i believe CoA masters can construct and erect things that are dependant on their will, project it as energy waves, and copy the basic forms of the other two types of haki.

              FUTURE ADMIRALS theory

The future admirals will be Coby, Sentomaru and Smoker. These three all have one thing in common. They have some similarities to the 3 strongest marines in Roger’s era i.e. Garp, Sengoku and Zerphy.

              1.Garp e Coby:

              12

-Base of operation: Both are located at the hq.
-Fighting style: Hand to hand combat. Some elements of their fighting styles are similar since Coby is Garp’s apprentice
-Partners: Garp had Bogard while Coby has Helmeppo. Both partners carry a bladed weapon.

              34

-Both have a deep trust with their pirate rival: Garp with Roger, Coby with Luffy
-Sense of justice: Their sense of justice is the same. They will sit and drink with pirates they consider as friends but when the tym comes they will hunt them down without holding back.

Coby will surpass Garp and inherit his will. He will also inherit part of Garps nickname just like Sanji inherited the “leg” from Zeref.

              2. Sengoku and Sentomaru:

              56

-Appearance: When Sengoku is using his df he turns into a Buddha giant. He looks similar to a sumo wrestler which is similar to Sentomaru.
              -Fighting style:

-Both use their palms to fight. Both their palms release energy blasts. Sengokus is a shockwave while Sentomaru is a CoA haki blast.
-Sense of justice:Both follow a similar sense of justice. They have respect for pirates who they feel deserve respect. They both are disgusted with pirates who are not worthy of their respect. They will fight them without holding back. They don’t hate pirates but they feel that it is their duty as marines to stop them.

Sentomaru will surpass Sengoku and will inherit his will.

              3. Zerphy and Smoker:

              78

-Base of operation: Both are stationed at G-5 in New world.
-Weapons: Both use kairoseki weapons. Smoker with his Jutte and Zerphy with his arm.

              1011

-Nicknames: Both their nicknames have a colour theme. Zerphy is black while Smoker is white
-DF: Zerphy has no df while Smoker has a df.
-Sense of justice: They both believe in the same justice. Pirates are evil while marines are good. They live in a black and white world. Both are strong believers of justice
-Both their beliefs in the marines and WG change over time. Zerphy left the marines as a result.
-Their character themes are opposite in some aspects. One has a df with a white color theme while the other has no df with a black color theme

Smoker will surpass Zerphy and inherit his will. Since they are opposite to each other, Smoker will be able to do what Zerphy could not. that is to change the marines and to change his mentality from a black and white one to a gray one.

That is why I believe these 3 people will be the admirals in the future.
Thanks for reading. All feedback is welcome. Be it good or bad.

LUFFY’S MOTHER WAS D, AND PERHAPS RELATED TO ROGER

(you can send your theory about  everything related to OnePiece via email at [email protected])
                One-Piece-image-one-piece-36434176-500-699

So I was doing a little thinking about all the “D’s” we have seen introduced so far in the series, and I realized something. Jaguar D. Saul stated that even though he didn’t know what the meaning behind the D, he said that EVERYONE in his family carried the initial in their name. This means that both Saul’s mother and father were both D’s. Now when we look at Portgas D. Ace, we know that his mother and father are also both D’s. With this information, it leads me to conclude, that in order for someone to be a “D” that both of their parents has to be D’s. Now obviously his mother couldn’t be a Jaguar D, unless Dragon is walking around with some seriously heavy duty machinery (if you know what I mean >:) ), nor could she be a Monkey (Because that would just be ewww) So that means there could only be two possible options, either his mother is one of the known D’s we’ve seen so far in the series (Gol, Portgas, or Marshall) OR she is knew carrier of D, yet to be introduced. I’ve opted to believe that she is a carrier that has already been introduced, because I don’t think Oda is going to go overboard with the D bloodline.

So why a Gol? The answer is actually really simple, and it’s because Luffy looks almost identical to a young Roger. Although we are never shown Rogers eyes in his younger age, what we did see of him, the similarities are uncanny. I always thought it was a little strange that Luffy looks nothing like Garp or Dragon, but bares such a strong resemblance to Roger. It would make perfect sense for him to look so similar to Roger, if his mother is in fact a Gol, and he gets his appearance from her.

The other possibilities is her being either a Portgas D. a Marshal D. or an unknown D. I’ve ruled out Portgas for obvious reasons, and I’m not to opposed to her being a Marshal D, because that would add a huge twist in the sense that Luffy is in some way related to Blackbeard, but even so, I think that would be a bit of a stretch. As far as her being an unknown D, like I stated before, I don’t think Oda is going to be going to overboard with the D. bloodline because it’s fairly obvious that the Will of D plays a huge roll in the over all storyline, and Oda isn’t going to over complicate it by adding more and more D’s to the mix.

Anyways I know probability of her being related to Roger is very very small, but I’m willing to bet Shanks right arm, that she is definitely a D. So if you guys don’t think she is a Gol, what would be your pick?
