CP0’S POWERS

If CP0’s main trio that we saw in Dressrosa has Devil Fruit abilities, there is no doubt these will be incredibly powerful powers. Afterall, given their role and likely amount of power as the ultimate shield for the Tenryuubito and Gorosei against external threats, it would be ludicrous to think they would have less powerful Devil Fruits. Of course there is the possibility that they do not possess Devil Fruits, but I find this unlikely.

One important thing to note is that AEGIS is a defensive ability that the Ancient Greek Gods possessed. This and other factors considered, I will rule out Logia Devil Fruit powers for the following reasons:

  • Rokushiki is most effectively used when a users body is enhanced, Logias do not do this, however, Paramecia can and Zoans always do
  • There is a limited number of Logia fruits Oda can use at this point

Now, as I said, as Rokushiki is a heavily body-dependent fighting style, the members of CP0 all likely have very powerful Kenbunshoku and Busoshoku Haki.

According to One Piece trivia, Oda has namedropped another Rokushiki technique called ‘Chokkai’, it’s name means ‘to bother’, although nothing more is known, whether Oda is joking or not is also questionable. If Oda is being truthful about this, having not seen this technique before, we will likely see CP0 using this. If Chokkai is real I suspect the technique will involve after images and immense speed the same way Rokuogan involved immense strength.

From what we know so far, this is a list of abilities they likely have:

  • Busoshoku Haki
  • Kenbunshoku Haki
  • Chokkai
  • Rokuogan
  • Kami-e
  • Geppo
  • Soru
  • Tekkai
  • Rankyaku
  • Shigan
  • Combination of Haki and Rokushiki

As for Devil Fruits:
Aegis to our best knowledge has three different possible source materials in Greek Mythology. There are three of these CP0 agents and therefore I believe that they each have a direct link to every singular part of Aegis.

The first instance will relate to this man:

Basilisk Mythical Zoan – Hebi Hebi no Mi Model: Basilisk
This is because, in myth, the shield first contained the skin and hair of a Gorgon, granting it incredible invulnerability as it could use Stone for protection and manipulate stone as well as turn enemies into stone. Although the ability to turn people into stone is taken by the Mero Mero no Mi and the Gorgon-based character is embodied in Hancock, a Basilisk Zoan is still very likely and powerful

Powers:

  • Flight
  • Turn opponent to stone upon contact (not automatic)
  • Extra speed and agility
  • Size advantages
  • Greater muscular power
  • Regenerative ability to external wounds

Secondly, the right hand man from the long arm tribe:

Chimera Mythical Zoan – Neko Neko no Mi Model: Chimera
Legend also states that a Chimera-esque creature of unspecified appearance had formed a part of the Shields construction. The creature is likely strongly related to Chimera. Therefore it’s highly probable that Oda would use the actual Chimera for this guys powers

Powers:

  • Flame breath
  • Poisonous bite from tail
  • Claws of incalculable strength (swords slashing?)
  • Horns of incalculable density
  • Enhanced speed
  • Enhanced strength and power

Lastly, the tallest of the three characters:

Iron Paramecia – Tetsu Tetsu no Mi
There was a giant killed by Athena called Pallas, and another called Asterus, both of whom had incredibly strong hyde/skin that was resistant to any mortal damage. At the time of the Greeks, Iron was the strongest metal discovered, hence this is a good choice. This guy is huge anyway and can be considered a symbolism the giants in question, his ability will greatly enhance his ability to defend himself

Powers:

  • Enhanced defence (absolute defence? +Tekkai + Busoshoku Haki)
  • Greater muscular strength
  • Power and density increased greatly
  • Ability to create and manipulate pre-existing Iron
  • Slight magnetic properties

Well, whether I’m right or wrong, these guys are totally monstrous, but this is a little bit of fun, hope you enjoyed! Do you like these choices of Devil Fruit?

    Marco’s Devil Fruit

Marco ate a Devil Fruit referred to as a Mythical Zoan type; an immensely powerful type of Zoan Devil Fruit, said to be the rarest type, even rarer than Logia fruits. His Devil Fruit enables him to transform into a phoenix. It is because of this ability that he is identified as “Marco the Phoenix”. While this fruit’s power is classified as a Zoan, due to the uniqueness of the phoenix, the additional powers it grants may be considered similar to those of Paramecia (the somewhat “superhuman” power that affects the user’s body: regeneration) and Logia (the generation of blue phoenix flames).

    Marco.ONE_.PIECE_.full_.989093

This Devil Fruit gives Marco increased physical attributes (as is with all Zoan types) and the rare ability of flight, as well as the possibility of launching aerial attacks. During the Battle of Marineford, Marco showcased his aerial maneuverability by traversing quickly across the battlefield and supervised the assault in Whitebeard’s place. He can transform his feet into phoenix talons, with which he can slash his enemies.

Like other Zoan users, Marco is able to take a hybrid human-beast form. However, Marco’s control over his transformations seems to be the greatest of any other Zoan user shown so far, as unlike most other Zoan users (Laffitte, Chopper, and Onigumo, possibly being the only known exceptions), Marco can transform selective parts of his body into phoenix form without changing his whole appearance. In his most commonly seen human-beast form, Marco only transforms his arms into wings of fire (sometimes choosing to maintain his hands) so that he can fly and still attack with standard kicks.

The fruit’s greatest attribute, however, is that by transforming into a phoenix of blue flames at will, Marco can regenerate any wounds with the blue fire he generates, much like how a phoenix is said to rise from its own ashes. Because of this, Marco is very resilient and can take a huge amount of damage in his phoenix form with no visible consequence other than the time taken to regenerate. He was thus able to block a barrage of simultaneous lasers from Kizaru, and even intercepted, with the help of Busoshoku Haki, Akainu’s magma punch, an attack that was so damaging it burned and eventually took the life of the fire Logia-user Ace; the latter feat suggests that phoenix flames are superior to Akainu’s magma and Ace’s fire, or this could have just been due to Marco’s healing powers. These blue flames are not hot and they do not burn or spread like normal fire; instead, they are what allow him to heal, though there is a limit to the regeneration and are referred to as the “Blue Flames of Resurrection” Marco can recover from any damage he accumulates in his human form by reverting to his phoenix, or hybrid phoenix form, or just by summoning blue flames around his body. He has even been seen recovering using mere scattered flames and turning into his human form simultaneously, proving that he is quite resilient and calm when prepared for an impact. This allows him to even recover from any injuries taken while touching seastone, but only after he stops being in contact with it. This gives Marco a huge advantage that no Logia user has, since the damage done to Logia users with their powers disabled remain permanent. This is not the case with Marco, as he can heal when necessary.

Despite the fact that it cannot be used as a weapon, he can still summon the blue flames around his person, in his human form (possibly by partially shifting into his hybrid form or full-phoenix form), as seen when he engulfed his arm with the said flames as he prepared to confront Akainu.

Other than the aforementioned weaknesses, Marco is also susceptible to the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses like any user.

THE POTENTIAL OF THE MOKU MOKU NO MI

Lot’s of people have dismissed Smoker’s Moku Moku no Mi as a very weak logia. I understand where you’re coming from, and the argument does make sense. Afterall, the high surface area of the Smoke he creates makes it easy to harm him and he lacks destructive power beyond what he can do with his own body and Jitte. But, the untapped potential of the fruit, possibly it’s awakening is startling. Truly frightening.

As we know, smoke is a biproduct of many chemical reactions. There are two types of chemical reactions: Endothermic and Exothermic. Most smoke is made from Endothermic reactions, in which heat is absorbed by chemicals, making the temperature of the smoke quite cold. This is what Smoker’s abilities are: his smoke is cold. And therefore lacks destructive power and ferocity, however, he will soon be able to use Exothermic Smoke, either as an awakening or a simple power up.

Why is Exothermic smoke a powerup? Glad you asked. This smoke has a very high temperature. Smoke we see from fires: Exothermic (up to 2000 decrees c approx). Smoke we see from eruptions: Exothermic (up to 8000 degrees c approx). Smoke from lightning strikes: Exothermic (up to 16000 degrees c approx). Smoke given off by stars and solar m*fokin flares: Exothermic (unlimited temperature but usually around 32000 degrees c). As you can see, that’s pretty hot! Exothermic chemical reactions release heat, making the products hot. So Smoker in theory could create smoke hotter than anything Sakazuki or Enel are capable of creating.

That’s right: Smoke > Magma and lightning

      1

Other features of Exothermic smoke products: This includes being toxic and having a choking effect, Smoker could use this to hinder opponents. This has been foreshadowed through Smoker’s experiences with Caesar’s toxic smoke, he may copy techniques as such, which does make sense. The smoke can also cause damage to soft body tissues like eyes or skin. On top of that, when ignited, some smokes can explode. If Smoker were to light a cigar then bam:

A large explosion of confiscated mortar rounds, grenades, guns and other explosive devices set up by Army explosive ordnance disposal technicians on Contingency Operating Base Q-West, Iraq, Dec. 31. The controlled blast, which contained more than 1,500 pounds of explosives, was set off at midnight as a way to ring in the New Year from Iraq.

So please, don’t write Smoker off just yet. The guy’s a future monster.
