The possibility of Nami being Luffy’s future wife?

Wait what Nami’s Luffy Wife in the Future?? How about BOA?? How about Margaret?? How about Rebecca??

I know there’s a lot of pairing come in our minds.. and also we have this dream pairing for Luffy.. Because honestly my Dream Pair for Luffy is Boa

Let’s examine everything on a logical way

Think of it the late Pirate King Gol D. Roger has a wife and son Portgas D. Rouge (wife) and Portgas D. Ace (son). This is not just a random things that Oda would happen to do so.. It can be foreshadowing Luffy in the Future having a Wife and a Son who will carry his bloodline.. We know that Luffy lack intelligence but he is indeed wise in someway without noticing it.. The reason he kept rejecting Boa’s Hancock wedding proposal is not just by a whim and his stupidity it has something to do with it, like why his not attracted and also to other women he met before but he considered them all as a friend..

Here things will become more interesting.. Nami hate Pirates at the beginning of the Series and yet Luffy managed to take Nami along as Navigator.. I know you think this way “because Nami is partnered with Luffy and Nami is using Luffy along the way” it is somehow true but the thing I’m trying to point out if you are in the position of Nami who really despised Pirate and also a Pirate Shot Dead your Mother would you be friends with them ?? Would you be partnered with them ?? I guess the answer is No.. But on that episode where Luffy is locked down on a cage and a Buggy Cannon will shoot Luffy, Nami didn’t think twice and stopped the ignition with her bare hands.. Though Nami claimed that if she didn’t stopped the cannon she’s no difference with a Pirate.. But I see of it as a sign of Nami’s Changed Heart [:3] and also the reason why Nami left Luffy with the Going Merry along her on Baratie because she doesn’t want them to be involved in his problems.. LikeRobin she doesn’t want his considered as Friends/Nakama to be hurt or to be in trouble.. Just like I said we’re going to think logically so let’s not just get carried away by what Oda wants us to think of.. I am studying detective though It’s baseless to assumed that this random theory is accurate or would happen.. Ok back to the read, on Arlongs Park Arc where Luffy is going to rescue Nami he lends his precious treasure theStrawhat.. and after beating Arlong, Nami made a decision to go on journey with them having a dream “to Draw a Map of the World”and noting that Nami also claimed that wherever Luffy wants to go she’ll take him there..

Sorry for this please bear with me a little longer.. and here some example clips though it is not mine but I am constructing some more accurate clip and I’ll just replaced it afterwards..

The reason why I show those clips is because, Luffy is somewhat happened not just only saved Nami once after Arlongs Park it happens to some of the episodes and movies along the way.. Nami always got involved of been taken away by the enemies not because she is weak, she is indeed beautiful and also she has this superb navigation skills.. In One Piece Movie 2 the Clockwork Island Adventure where Nami was taken away by the Trumph Siblings Pirate Crew and Bear King wants Nami as his wife :rage: where also Luffy lend his hat again to Namiwhose wearing a Bride Outfit  is this a foreshadowing too ?? who knows.. where talking on Oda anyway his very good at foreshadowing and making people minds blow.. Moving forward it only not happen once, twice it happens many times.. So I won’t state it here because I am guessing you can picture out what I’m trying to imply right..

And I happen to see this..

(Oda’s wife)

[IMG] [IMG]

We all know Oda based a lot of things in real life events.. And Nami’s character creation is not just also happen to be random.. And I happen to read also a theory about Nami’s Bloodline is an Angel isn’t it fitting for a King of Pirates having a wife an Angel.. If this is so to happen he can even surpass the Late Pirate King Gol D. Roger.. And Luffy’s reaction everytime Nami’s in trouble, there chemistry shows that Namiis a fitting wife for Luffy the Pirate King.. And also if that’s so to happen when Luffy has this titled Pirate King and sailing free in the Ocean isn’t it for a wife’s obligation to be with him [:3] Nami said that wherever Luffy wants to go I’ll take him there

THANK YOU FOR READING

THE CONNECTION BETWEEN “WILL OF D” AND “ONE PIECE”

This theory will explain to us everything about the Will of D  and hopefully tell us what the ONE PIECE is!

Eiircho Oda was inspired from this Tribe Called “Tuatha Dé Danann” that existed in real life and in Irish mythology .

I will Point out the MIND BLOWING similarities between this tribe and the current events in One Piece.

So let’s first state that this tribe is called “Tuatha Dé Danann”.

    The first part “Tuatha Dé”

Tuatha means “tribe of the” .. and Dé is the name of the tribe!
Translates to “Tribe of the Dé”

The second part “Dannan” means “those” it was an extra part made by the monks of Ireland because Irish monks began using to the term “Tuatha De” to refer to Israelites.

So they called it “Tuatha de Dannan” to refer to this Ancient Tribe.

So I’m going to show you the legends of this tribe as how it’s so similar to One Piece.

In the Irish mythology, this Tribe was the one of the first advanced tribes to settle on earth, they were explained as gods or fallen angels who were neither good nor evil, they were also known for having super natural powers, and they came to settle on the earth.

Already so far we have Two similarties!

1- Fallen angels or gods who are not from earth?

Doesn’t this seem like the sky island people of birka who had advanced technology and came to earth to settle down?

2- Super natural powers? Does this resemble devil fruits in One Piece?

    12650839_766912850105994_3049111626173093668_n

Look at this picture, this was the tribe’s symbol.
Doesn’t it look so similar to the ones on the devil fruits?!

This Tribe Dé had a lot of rivals one of them was the Fomorians.
Take a look at how they looked like.

    ugly_ppl
This one resembles a One Piece Fishman!

The second thing in the picture i notice a dog-human thing.
I believe it’s the Minkmen tribe.
The white horse in the back … is Doc Q from Blackbeard’s crew! The resemblance is so similar!

The Tribe of Dé Ruled the world and they shared with the other tribes who existed on earth their advanced technology.

Hmmm , do you remember the Ancient Kingdom of Raftel , it was also said it was an advanced kingdom.

But why did the kingdom of Raftel disappear? Well, let’s continue with this story.

And what’s surprising about this tribe is everything about their history is written down , from the name of their scientists and rulers …. Until at one point of time , nothing at all is mentioned. And their kingdom is erased from history as if they no longer exists.

There are many legends and myths about how this Kingdom suddenly vanished, however there is no evidence on how it suddenly vanished.

Some historians said that this tribe vanished because an Army from the Spanish government attacked Ireland and attacked this tribe , and after that they did everything to try to Destroy their kingdom and erase their history.

This is the same thing that the World Government did, and its still doing it to everyone who tries to learn the ancient language of the Ponyglyphs and they get erased from history.

The tribe, Tuatha De Danann had Four Legendary treasures. Which can ONLY be used if you are a descendant of the tribe De , or carry their blood.

So here are the four treasures.

The first one is “the Spear of Lugh” which is a very destructive Spear with very high accuracy, that can hit the target no matter how far it is.

Sounds like something Ussop would use , and that will complete his dream of becoming the brave warrior of the sea.

The Second treasure is “the Dagda’s Cauldron” which is a golden Bowl that never runs out of material or food.

I believe Sanji is the perfect one to use this since he is the straw hat’s cook.

The Third treasure is “The Sword Of Light of Nuada”.

This is known as the greatest sword in the world.

And what’s amazing, lets look at Mihawk’s sword its called Yoru , which means sword of the night.
And this completes Zoro’s dream of being the greatest swordsman in the world.

The last treasure is “The Stone of Fal”

This is what I believe the One Piece is.

This stone is a magical stone that Selects the next King of the Tribe of the De.
The way it selects the king is by talking to him , and only the King of the De can hear the stone.

Does this remind you of how Gol D Roger could hear the voice of all things , and it even said by Silver Rayleigh that they didn’t have the tools or knowledge Ohara did. However Roger could talk to these stones. Which are the Ponyglyphs.

And once Luffy talks to that last stone which is known as the One Piece he will gain the status of the King and the knowledge the stone holds.

Do you remember the first intro of One Piece?

    Wealth… Fame… power…

    The golden cauldron resembles Wealth.
The spear and the sword resembles Power.
    The Stone resembles Fame.

SANJI & ZORO WILL HAVE THEIR SEPARATE ARCS

During the development of this new chapter (Chapter 814), I think its becoming clearer on how to kinda assume some things for the future of the story regarding Kaido and Big Mom.

In this chapter, there was a certain scene that gave a good feel of the status of the strawhats, specifically the scene where Zoro and Luffy argued about on whether going to rescue Sanji or not.

I think that Strawhats would get a vote off (Luffy and Zoro would have a big rift) and the Strawhats would split with one team going to Wano-Kuni and the other group rescuing Sanji, of course, this group is Luffy’s.

If im gonna give a guess on who goes with Zoro and who goes with Luffy, of course the ones that goes with Zoro are the reasonable ones, the more practical ones (you already can sense it with their dialouges last chapter)

Zoro = Robin, Ussop and Brook.

While the guys who would go with Luffy’s group are the emotional first ones.

Luffy = Nami, Chopper and Franky

And THIS division is actually really interesting.

      ===========

First of all, please take at look at the possible group of Zoro which would go through the original mission and go to Wano-Kuni.

Of course, its never more obvious that they also are going to Kaido’s path.

Nevermind that for now and focus here, Zoro is gonna be with Robin, Ussop and Brook.

They are going to Wano-Kuni, and it seems that Zoro’s group references some yokais

Robin = Robin actually got a lot of possible yokai reference, i’ll just leave it like that.
      Ussop = tengu
      Brook = gashadokuro

Well of course Zoro is a samurai, and along with Kinemon, Momonosuke and Kanjuuro.

The question is, who would accompany Zoro’s group?

Obviously, the clear guys are Law and the Heart Pirates.

It’s also interesting to note that Fujitora might possibly be in Wano-Kuni (and Jack, Sengoku and Tsuru as well) who also are referenced after some very japanese stuff.

The possible opponent in wano-kuni? = Kaido or Jack.

Wano-Kuni would be the biggest spotlight of Zoro. and he would get the first crack against Kaido.

Which other guy would go with Zoro’s group?

      Nekomamushi.

      ==============

Now let’s focus on Luffy’s group.

More than referencing the guys in Luffy’s group, in this group, i believe this determines which people would tag along their group….which some of them also would be involved in Wano-Kuni arc.

Let’s get this out of the way first, Bonney & X-Drake would appear in this Sanji arc. at least what i believe….because of Big Mom.

      Nami = Absalom & Tashigi
      Franky = Vegapunk
      Luffy = Smoker & Moriah
      Chopper = Hogback & Vegapunk

Zou would be the biggest spotlight of Sanji and he would get the first crack against Big Mom.

      ============

Basically the point im making is that i believe Luffy would take a backseat in this Big Mom/Kaido mess and that Zoro and Sanji would shine in these arcs…especially the first parts of the arcs.

(although at the end Luffy would be the one to end them dont get me wrong, and i believe their alliance will grow with 2 more people with X-Drake & Bonney)

The Training Ground of the CP9

R: Oda-sensei, hello. I just have something I’d like to ask you. On the cover of Chapter 518, there you could see the home of the CP9. This looks like very similar to the east tower on the Jian Xin Yu in my hometown “Wenzhou” in China, so did you draw inspiration from it? I have to ask this.
ugly_pplO: Oh, it’s that tower without a doubt. It’s the training ground of the CP9, and I thought for me, who has grown up in a generation of Kung Fu movies, a Chinese oriented setting would be fine. I assume that’s why I chose it. I intented to take my cue from far away landscapes, but I’m proud to know there live people who read One Piece. Thank you for the letter.

          KAIDO AND THE SURVIVAL

Hello everyone, in this new theroy I’m gonna be talking about Kaido’s powers. This may sound tiresome to most people due to Kaido’s theories have been done to exhaustion, but I assure you,you won’t regret reading it.

          LETS GET TO THE THEORY!

I was watching one of the “new” X-men movies, the one that we see how professor Xavier gets crippled. and there we have a super-hero, the which is called Darwin in the Marvel comics. His power is quite a interesting one, he has the wonderful ability to adapt to any circumstance in order to survive.for instance:

          • If you throw him at the sea he will create gills or something like this to surive.
          • Fire-proof skin if exposed to flames.
          • He can adapt to any enviroment or situation,if he is in a very cold place he will grow fat or hair for instance.
          • In less extreme cases, when in total darkness he quickly develops night vision.
          • Once, when getting a hell of beat by Hulk, his body simply teleported him far away from the fight.

So, I think Kaido has the Fitto-Fitto no Mi(the adapt fruit), the Saizen-Saizen no Mi(the survival fruit) or the Fume-Fume no Mi(the immortality fruit).

Kaido would have the power to adapt himself to any kind of situation, that explains why he can’t die, why he simply won’t just throw himslef into the sea and die and why he has scaped the marines so many times.

In this situation you may think, “well, then the SH pirates nor no one will ever be able to defeat Kaido”. To that I have a few points:

1-Killing or hurting isn’t the only way of fighting, they can always trap him or immobilize him.

2-The adaptation power in Darwin isn’t controlled, for instance, Darwin can’t get drunk because his body will simply process alcohol to fast. So, in order to defeat Kaido the SH can do something that make him adapt to survive but not in a form he can do anything, just like it happens in the movie I mentioned.

3-Luffy, as Mihawk has noted has the ability to turn people to his side, that doesn’t mean Kaido will be an ally, but he can see in Ruffy the person who will fullfill his dream whatever it is, or Luffy may convince to stop fighting for whatever reason.

People may also say that Akuma no mi is waaaaay too overpowered, to that I say: Darwin’s power, again, ain’t controlled by him, so the adaptation isn’t what the user of the power needs, it’s “just” a defensive ability, for instance, when fighting someone Kaido may deactivate his ability so that he doesn’t get teleported somewhere, all his attack skills will have nothing to do with his Akuma no mi, cause the adaptation will never make him stronger, just will make him survive. In a fight the fruit will never go “oh this opponent uses the mera-mera no mi, now I can use water powers” or “this guy is sttonger, to survive I’m stronger now”. No he power will always be defensive, so all of his attacks will be “normal” like punches, kicks, etc.

Those are my ideas regarding Kaido’s power, hope you all like it and comment you ideas!!!

HOW DID SANJI GET TO EAST BLUE?

We all know that Sanji’s from North Blue, though he met the crew while working at Baratie Restaurant in East Blue. We also know that Red Line divides the world in two parts, with three seas each:
            1. East Blue + Grand Line (Paradise) + South Blue.
            2. North Blue + Grand Line (New World) + West Blue.

From that, we can assume that there’s only 2 ways of getting to East Blue from North Blue:

            1. Reverse Mountain and Calm Belt. This means, entering Grand Line from North Blue through Reverse Mountain and then exiting Grand Line through Calm Belt to East Blue. This is the “easiest” way, though there’s a high probability of dying in Reverse Mountain and even more in Calm Belt.

            2. Mariejois. I don’t really have any idea on how to enter Mariejois except from scaling the Red Line at the end of Paradise or at the beggining of New World, but there must be some way to do so, reserved only to nobles or tenryuubitos and their staff (we saw Tenryuubitos and some of his servants back at Sabaody).

From my point of view, the first option is impossible. Why? Well, when the Strawhats were about to enter Grand Line, Sanji didn’t have any idea of what Reverse Mountain was, so it’s quite obvious that he hadn’t travelled through it as a kid.

The only possibility would be Mariejois then. So this gives more credibility to the theory that says that Sanji is a noble of some kind. He could have been to Mariejois as a kid with his noble family and he took advantage of the situation to escape from them, later being able to get in a cook’s ship that would bring him to East Blue. But then again, Oda always surprises, so we don’t know what he’s got prepared (could it be about to be revealed, could it have something to do with Sanji’s current “disappearance”?

There might also be a third way of getting to East Blue from North Blue, though I find it highly anticlimatic. The thing would be that one could cross Red Line in some parts of the Blues, meaning that not the whole Red Line would be a cliff as in Grand Line, but that it would rather have some places similar to beaches where ships could dock, thus being able to cross from one side to another. If this was true, though, I think One Piece would lose his characteristic “divided world” theme, which I think is the main point of the series (there’s a world divided in four pieces waiting to be reunited in one single piece).

Anyways, this is it, guys. I guess it’s not much of a theory, but instead it’s more of a punctualization that gives credibility to the theory of Sanji being a noble. Hope you liked it!

Feel free to share your thoughts on how Sanji could’ve got to East Blue as a kid.

Luffy/Law To Become Big Bosses Of Notorious Future Super-Alliance – The Next New World Superpower?

              ***Spoiler Alert***
              [IMG]

[IMG]What is it that makes the Yonkou, the World Government & the Pirate Warlords feared across the seas by many? Is it their brute strength, the way certain individuals compose themselves that demands the immediate respect of whoever crosses paths with them or is it simply charisma?

I think, it is the influence that one has on the pirate world. The Yonkou, by what we know, are all heavily involved with a certain market that THEY are running and the WG doesn’t hold leverage over – this is NOT accounting the fact that just one Emperor may well have the potential to wipe the entire marine force from the face of the planet.

Big Mam: markedly invests her protection in return for instalments of something specific (sweets so far.. hope it gets more interesting as the story progresses) – a protection policy. If the quota is not met, she will destroy the place of contract. This cruel method of bargaining is what makes her pirate trade successful – using fear to get results.

Kaidou: is in control of the black market, formerly administered by the, now defeated, Joker. SMILE aside, the black market frequently dealt in with the weapons trade to keep wars among countries active for business. Whoever funds both sides of the war may expect the greatest income in profit. Sadly, that statement holds true in real life too.. That is Kaidou’s market. He’s a master industrialist with a terrible temper.

Blackbeard: is currently growing and strengthening his forces.

              Shanks: N/A.

Not to mention that the Yonkou war with each other constantly over territory in the NW to tip the power struggle to their favour.
              —————————————–

Now, as seen in the images above, Luffy has been offered a number of 5600 pirates to serve with the Straw Hats as the flag ship. Not only that, he will also have the backing of a pirate crew that was once feared across the globe – the Giant Pirate Crew.
The Straw Hat Pirates will most certainly catch a position of influence for themselves if they had followers that numbered in that many. In fact, if something like this were to happen.. Who else would you imagine joining this new mainframe that is led by a member of the Worst Generation? (If it’s going to be led by Luffy)

My prediction is that Luffy’s character will compel him to reply in the fashion of:

“Eh, seems like a bother. I don’t care what you do, just do what you want.”

Luffy wanted to captain his own crew. But he never wanted an army. This is where Law’s wits come in.. Law sees, not only an opportunity for higher protection and easier access into enemy territory, but a sure-fire way to counter against Kaidou in battle. (Big Mam is Luffy’s enemy, Law has nothing to do with her)

What could be better than 1 member of the Worst Generation governing the world’s most powerful pirate armada? That’s right. 2 Members of the Worst Generation!

Luffy is in control, gives the orders and makes the decisions. Law administers the troops, sends out missions and ensures a healthy information mainframe between all crews. His underground alias becomes ‘Corazon’ – in respect to his former parent-figure and the fact that it says so at the back of his robe might indicate foreshadowing.
A market begins to brew, a market that offers protection in exchange for hospitality, banquets and doctoring for every instance that an allianced crew or member arrives at said place of contract. Luffy’s name, with the gratitude that comes from saving said villages, cities etc. begins to spread like a tempest across the ocean (and is well received by citizens of Dress Rosa, Arabasta, Fishman Island and, soon to be, Kano)

Kaidou and Big Mam hate Luffy. This hatred is to turn into gang wars at sea, you see a pirate member or crew with the enemy alliance, you kill them.. You kill their market, you kill their influence.

Not to say, movements such as the Revolutionary Army may very well consider joining this alliance for the benefit of their own organisations, or at least the countries that they are trying to protect/and or attack.

                SANJI AND HIS PAST

Sanji has always been one of the most underestimated characters in One Piece. I think and I believe that everyone agrees that Oda is gearing Sanji up for something great in the future.

While looking back at the One Piece SBS’s I found something interesting in SBS Volume 20.

R: Oda-sensei, out of the 5 crew members Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, Nami and Sanji, what animals do you think they most resemble?

                O:

                • Luffy’s a monkey
                • Zoro is… a shark
                • Usopp, an armadillo
                • Nami’s a cat
                • And Sanji’s a duck.

But there’s one thing I AM confident about. I THINK CHOPPER IS A REINDEER. (DOOOON)

Oda states that Sanji resembles a DUCK

So this leads me to think that the life of Sanji is based off the story The Ugly Duckling by Hans Christian Andersen.

Lets look at the actual story to see the connections and comparisons between the life of the ugly duckling and Sanji.

                Here is the link
                http://hca.gilead.org.il/ugly_duc.html

Seeing that Duval was said to be under some curse at child birth and had that same curly eyebrow as Sanji I believe that this may foreshadow a similar flashback of Sanji’s past.

Likewise in The Ugly Duckling, the duckling was being teased and was rejected by all the animals.
Also, the ugly duckling was last to born and was born too mature which made it look strange and deformed.

So, with that being said, I believe that Sanji may have had an unnatural birth where Sanji was looked down upon because of his curly eyebrow or because he was overdue.

Lets look back at one the manga chapters to validate this.

Here we see Usopp stating that Sanji may have been born under some miracle star.
So maybe Sanji was born during some great event or it is referencing to his miracle birth, kinda like the birth of Jesus.

In the story, the ugly duckling’s mother stated that the ducklings looked liked their father and that the FATHER LEFT.

This leads me to believe that Sanji had a father that abandoned him and his mother when he was born.
I think that Sanji’s father was a World Noble that had many wives and Sanji’s mom was one of them although I don’t believe that Sanji had siblings.

And here is proof that World Nobles do have more than one wife

Eventually, the ugly duckling was teased by everyone soo much that the mother duckling rejected it.

Therefore, I believe that Sanji’s mother loved and wanted to keep Sanji but Sanji’s World Noble father and other World Nobles saw Sanji as an abomination maybe because

                1) Sanji had a weird curly eyebrow

                2) He was overdue and had strange physical features

                or..

                3) The World Nobles saw the curly eyebrow as a curse and it was prophesied that Sanji will be born and bring destruction to the World Nobles!

Okay… I know that last part was crazy but it could be possible

This doesn’t really seem far-fetched because of what Sanji said to Kuma

Anyways, I strictly believe that Sanji was resented by his Father and the other World Nobles.

So as a result of this malice towards Sanji I would make sense that the World Nobles put Sanji’s mother back into common life and forced Sanji’s mother to put him up for adoption or straight up abandon him to die!

But I think that she put him up for adoption to protect him.

This may explain why Sanji does not talk or bring up his parents because he was separated from them when he was still an infant

In the end where the ugly duckling turns into a beautiful swan, I believe that this forshadows Sanji becoming the real star in the Final War and fucking shit up at Marejois.

Turning from that underestimated pirate into a well known pirate.

Kaido has a Dragon Devil Fruit

Shortly after the Straw Hats’ arrival in Dressrosa, Luffy had tried to fly Momonosuke because of the flying ability that Momonosuke had displayed and used unconsciously to save both Luffy and himself from remaining in the pit wherein Luffy first stumbled upon him

, but Momonosuke dreadfully and loudly rejected the idea of flying ‘again’ through the ‘skies’ despite having no memory of the time when he had flown out of the pit together with Luffy, wherein there was no ‘sky’.

While he was about to shout his rejection of such idea, Momonosuke was recalling somebody’s hand reaching out to grab him.

That event from his memory appears to be the cause of his aviophobia(fear of flying). The person from his flashback is suggested to have a flying ability, and the Dragon Devil Fruit possesses a flying ability.

When Momo was loudly rejecting the idea of flying again, his father was composedly listening to what was happening with no sign of surprise. This indicates that his father is aware of the misfortune that befell Momo. This further suggests that this had happened long before both Momo’s consumption of an artificial Dragon Devil Fruit and their separate arrivals in PH.

At Punk Hazard, Kinemon both exhibited great abhorrence of ‘dragons’ and confirmed to Brook that he has a ‘personal vendetta’ against them. I do not think that such hatred and vendetta could develop from having his ‘lower third’ attached to a dragon (the first dragon that greeted Luffy, Zoro, Usopp and Robin when they first set foot on the blazing half of Punk Hazard) since it is normally IMPOSSIBLE for one to confirm by only his lower third the nature of the being or thing to which it (his lower third) was attached.

Kinemon also showed great detestation of ‘pirates’ when sanji had first introduced himself and the rest of his group to him as pirates.

After Momo had consumed Vegapunk’s artificial Dragon Devil Fruit and successfully managed to escape his pursuers at Punk Hazard, he found himself facing a mirror. Upon looking at the reflection of his dragon form on the mirror, he paled and shouted a loud scream. This appears to be a phobic reaction to dragons.

When Luffy and Momo were stranded in that pit, Luffy introduced himself to Momo as the man who will become the pirate king. Upon hearing that, Momo had become fidgety and nervous and gave a description of ‘pirates’ that matches Kaido’s description. This could suggest that Momo met Kaido in person, and his nervousness could be due to the fear he harbours about Kaido due to a certain event/ events.

When Kaido’s underling was trying to update kaido with the news of Joker’s defeat, he was looking toward the sky, which means that he believed that Kaido was in the sky, if not on the apex of some mountain.

In that very chapter, Kaido reached sky island with neither the company nor the knowledge of his crew members.

It was shown to us that Drake and several other crew members of Kaido were talking about the news whereas Kaido himself was on the sky island.

It was therefore evident that such method of attaining sky island is strictly related to his abilities.

In this week’s chapter it was revealed to us, along with his identity, that Kaido has the strongest body structure you could find in all the living things that swim, crawl and fly this earth. Dragons are known to possess such attributes as robust scales that could withstand blades and spears that aim to penetrate their skin as well as wings that allow them to fly and reach such altitudes. Since Kaido’s body was described to be immune to blades and spears that aimed to penetrate it, from this aspect his attributes strongly support the idea that he possesses the Dragon Devil Fruit.

After Caesar’s downfall at Luffy’s hands, Kinemon told his son, in the middle of their meal, to trust that ‘they’ are all right.

My theory is that ‘they’ refers to the people from Wa. To be worried about their safety means that they are going through some kind of crisis. A crisis of this level that affects an entire nation whose citizens are so strong inasmuch as not even the marines can go near them can only be caused by one of the four emperors.

When the Straw Hats, Law and the samurai had left Punk Hazard and were heading to Dressrosa, Law revealed Kaido’s epithet. Upon hearing that, Momo and Kinemon both showed expressions of fear and shock. When asked by Zoro what was wrong, Kinemon untruthfully replied that nothing was wrong.

Right after Kinemon had untruthfully answered Zoro that nothing was wrong, he reacted frightfully to the dragon form of his own child and started nervously asking about his (Momo’s) whereabouts. Kinemon’s mind should have been preoccupied by the dragon next to him, but the very sight of that dragon triggered feelings of worry about his son’s whereabouts.

Afterwards, when everyone was gathered and having dinner, Kinemon revealed to them that they were ‘chased’ by people whose identity he wished not to reveal(probably for the safety of the people who aided him recover both his body portions and his son – the Straw Hats).

In both instances Kinemon concealed matters connected to kaido. In this week’s chapter we discover that Kaido’s goons were ‘chasing’ the ‘samurai’.

This establishes another strong connection between Kaido and the people of Wa. My theory is that Kinemon’s group was chased by Kaido’s goons when they were trying to go to Zo. And the crisis that befell Wa had been caused by Kaido.

Kaido is the only one that could have breached the strong security of Wa and did what was done to Momo by his flying abilities. This explains Momo’s accurate description of Kaido, his phobic reaction to dragons, and the fear he harbours about him from the event that caused him aviophobia. This also explains Kinemon’s ‘personal vendetta’ against ‘dragons’, his feelings of worry about the whereabouts of his child that surfaced at the sight of a dragon, and his strong dislike of ‘pirates’ because it is only natural for one to develop such feelings after having his son exposed to such traumatic experience and his country exposed to such crisis (conquest of Wa).

Let’s also not dismiss that Gear 4 was conceived to combat celestial/ flying enemies too.

These are my thoughts for why Kaido must possess the dragon ability.

                  Thank you for reading.

                    RETURN OF JINBE

This is my first theory, so I want to begin with one about One Piece near future. One that should be stated as true or false in the next few chapters:

Almost 150 chapters before now, Jimbei agreed to join the strawhats.
Almost 50 chapters before now, started the Jimbei solo adventure.
Now, I think Jimbei may come back and join the crew at the end of Dressrosa arc.

There are some hints that make me think of this possibility in Jimbei’s cover story, so let’s examine them one by one.

                    – Look at the cover story first page title:

“Back to my friends”. I know Jimbei, as a fishman, is friend with all fishes in this cover page, but I think the word “friends” here definitly refers to Luffy and the others.
This first page might show us Jimbei has finished what he had to do and now heads toward the strawhats, hinting he might appear soon.

                    – Later in his solo voyage, jimbei has been able to read a newspaper. Not a random newspaper, this one in particular:

Why is it important? Because Jimbei, as an intelligent character, can guess from this article that Luffy and Law are after Doflamingo and he can also deduce their actual position: Dressrosa. We know the strawhats and Law will move a lot, from island to island, in the near future and it will be more difficult for Jimbei to localize them later.

If he is willing to retrieve them as soon as possible, he will want to get to Dressrosa before they leave. Moreover, I don’t see the point for Oda letting Jimbei know about Luffy/Law alliance and drawing it for us, if it’s not to give him useful information.

                    – Before the last chapter (794), most people, including me, was thinking Luffy and the others should sail aboard revolutionaries’ ship to go to Zou, where Sunny is with the rest of the crew. But Sabo has left like a thief, without even a “goodbye kiss” on Luffy’s cheek. So, how are they supposed to go to Zou now? Answer in this picture:

What? You don’t have a boat? No problem, climb up on Wadatsumi!
This is what made me think Jimbei might show up in the next chapters at first. Wadatsumi is big enough to take everyone on his back (or his head, like Jimbei in this picture) and easily swim from Dressrosa to Zou.
I know they could also “borrow” a ship in Dressrosa, but:
Firstly, I don’t know if there still are available ships since the whole city has been destroyed
Secondly, there must be a reason why Wadatsumi is with Jimbei and I think this one is perfect. They don’t even need to be introduced to Wadatsumi since they already know him.
Thirdly, we are talking about Luffy’s crew, they don’t do things like others. When they aren’t in Merry or Sunny, they’re on giant ducks, little crow boat, Rocket Man, mini-shark submarine, … Being on a regular boat would be so boring for them.

                    – If you believe (as I do) there will be 4 recruits in the New World, each one sharing similarities with two other crewmates in order, then if Jinbei is one of them, he must be the first one. I want to say: considering Jimbei being the first recruit of the New World, no other character can join until he does. So making him join the Strawhats as soon as possible is better to not bring closer other recuitments in the future.

Hi Pholoris, i’m the voice of the Other You in your head, the annoying one. I’m sorry to interrupt your wonderful listing, but I want you to know that your theory is stupid. Let me explain why:
Jinbei is currently too strong to fit in the crew.

I don’t think so. We can’t really deduce anything from the little fight between him and Luffy in Fishman Island. I mean it kind of remind me the little fight between Zoro and Luffy in Whiskey Peak: stopped by a girl at the most interesting moment. But what we know is that Jimbei doesn’t seem to have progressed in fighting in two years and was impressed by Luffy Conqueror Haki.

Knowing Luffy’s strengh in Gear 4th mode we can say Jimbei is below. In fact, he fought at the same level as Sanji against Wadatsumi (not a good opponent to calculate strengh, I know), therefore I don’t think him much stronger than Zoro or Sanji and he wouldn’t be too overpowered in the crew.

You may be right, but it’s not the only problem: Jinbei’s bounty too high! Over the monster trio!

In fact we don’t really know Jinbei’s bounty. A pirate said it was around 400M in Fishman Island

but we didn’t see any official bounty (or wanted poster) higher than 250M for him.

But admitting he is around 400M, just Luffy bounty getting up to 500M (after what happened in Dressrosa) would be fine for Jinbei to join. Remember Robin was for a time higher than zoro, still have higher bounty than Sanji nowadays and for a short time, in MockTown before Black Beard showed them their new bounties, Straw Hats believed Robin had higher one than Luffy.
If Jinbei joins the crew with a huge bounty, it only means it won’t increase as much as the others’ in the future.

Hmm ok, let’s say he fits in strengh and bounty even now and let’s get back on the cover story first page title. “Back to my friends” could also mean Jinbei hasn’t done what he has to do yet and “friends”, in that case, might be the sun pirates he is heading to.

You’re right, this title is ambiguous, but we don’t know if his cover story starts right after he let Caribou at G5 (in the previous cover story) or if he had time to do something between. In fact, all points of the Jimbei’s solo adventure was to show us that Jinbei was on its way to somewhere and while traveling he found a poneglyph and Wadatsumi who decided go with him.

Moreover, it looks like the poneglyph is wrapped up and taken as a gift on Wadatsumi’s head in the last page. If Jimbei doesn’t go to luffy’s position right know and still has to deal with Big Mom or whatever he has to do, those gifts (as well as Wadatsumi) will burden him much more than necessary. And this cover story would be useless as Wadatsumi and this poneglyph probably won’t travel half New World with him until he reaches Luffy.
You know, I wasn’t expecting a cover story of jimbei this early after fishman island arc, there must be a reason. If Jinbei comes back in two or three islands after Dressrosa and without Wadatsumi (or the Poneglyph) because he left him in another adventure he had after, then this cover story would have no purpose.

Not bad but I have a last point: even if Jimbei goes to Dressrosa, it is much more probable for him to encounter Sanji and the others first. He would be able to help them.

If you remember chapter 730, Nami spoke about the importance of keeping C.Clown and Momonosuke away from Big Mom. At the same time, Franky asked her to escape from Dressrosa the fastest they could so Big Mom doesn’t come in Doffy’s country. I think that’s what they did.
Sanji wanted to fire back at Big Mom and I know that a lot of theories exist about someone appearing to save Sunny from Big Mom, but Nami was pretty confident about escaping and Sanji (who had already met Pekoms and Baron Tamago) wouldn’t put nami in danger if he wasn’t sure he could protect her while attacking big mom. I don’t think they’re around Dressrosa anymore and they probably won’t be shown before Zou.
