Romantic Relationships in One Piece

Myth: X character in One Piece is in love with X other character in One Piece.

Fact: It is not uncommon to see pairings mentioned like Luffy x Nami, Luffy x Boa Hancock, Sanji x Nami, Zoro x Nico Robin,  however some fans try to force the speculation into fact when it is not.

Fans love to fantasize about possible character couples.

lxb

When asked if there would be romance in One Piece in a SBS letter, Eiichiro Oda replied “they are in love with adventure”. There are no hints released in the manga itself. There exist minor love stories such as Kyros and Scarlett’s love story and certain relationships have been addressed (such as Piiman, Tamanegi and Ninjin mentioning how Usopp is a “lucky man” to have somebody as Kaya) but they are rather minor and no major relationship has been officially confirmed. As such, most love referencing comes in the form of perverted comments from one character to the other. Oda said that since this is a shonen manga, there is practically no romance (with a few exceptions, such as married couples, etc.) Not counting Sanji’s feelings towards almost every female being in existence, Oda took eleven years to introduce any form at all – Boa Hancock’s love for Luffy. However this is considered to be a one-sided romance solely intended for humor as Luffy does not have those same feelings for Hancock, having turned down her marriage proposal several times in the past. Oda also mentioned in one of the SBS that One piece is manga targeted at young boys, therefore there will be no romance between the straw hat crew.

The Devil Fruit eaten by Dragon – Myth & Fact

    monkey-d-dragon-fictional-characters-photo-u1

Myth: It is obvious by the way he said “Wind Blast” back in Loguetown that Dragon has a wind Devil Fruit. Or maybe, Dragon ate a Devil Fruit that allows him to manipulate the weather. Why do you think a lightning bolt saved Luffy from being killed by Buggy? And what about the rain, when Dragon arrives at Loguetown?

Fact: Dragon did not say “Wind blast” in the manga, it was added in the anime. The original manga does not give any indication that Dragon had any effect on the weather other than being around when the storm hit. We do not know his power, although it is always a possibility. The speculation was re-invigorated when a rather powerful and convenient wind blast created a path to the ocean and the Revolutionaries during the fire of Gray Terminal, with some fans speculating the two instances were foreshadowing, but again there is no proof that this is correct.

THE VOICE OF ALL THINGS AND THE RED PONEGLYPH: WHAT DOES IT SAY?

Hey guys, here’s my take on the Red Poneglyph!

Something that has been curious to me for several chapters now is why exactly is Momo sick? It has been stated that he “doesn’t feel well” and has been in his room almost since arriving on Zou.

As they head toward whale tree, Oda specifically writes that Momo is still feeling “terrible“.

Kinemon suggests to Momo “wait at the bottom”. Perhaps this indicates that he is feeling worse as he heads closer to the whale tree.

      Here’s where it get’s juicy.

Momo says that the closer he gets to whale tree, the more he can hear this “loud voice”. Kinemon comments that Momo is much like his Father and Neko and Inu bring up another person who is “much the same”.

I really think this voice Momo hears is the “voice of all things”. It is very conspicuous that only Momo can hear this voice, given Franky possesses “super hearing”. Neither the minks nor the Samurai are very surprised. Perhaps this suggests others have heard this same “loud voice” as they approach whale tree.

This is a voice that only Momo, his father and the “other man” can hear.

The “other man” is heavily hinted to be Gol D. Roger.

Remember, Gol D. Roger “found the text and followed it’s guidance”. This implies at some point he would have come across this new Red Poneglyph on Zou, giving him the opportunity to here its “voice”.

Note, it’s not until they are inside the tree that Nami can hear Raizou’s screams. This heavily suggests that the voice Momo can hear is not the screams of the ninja.

I am sure Momo can hear the voice of all things!!! And this ability allows him to hear the voice of the Poneglyph on zou and it’s voice is a voice that makes him feel physically ill.

And we learn that this poneglyph Momo can hear has a “different purpose” than the others.

To further my suspicions about Momo, he is not shown at all inside the Poneglyph chamber. This next chapter Momo will reveal that he can hear what the Poneglyph is saying, i’m sure.

So… What could this Poneglyph be saying??

It’s story makes Momo “uneasy” to the point that he feels “sick”. It’s also colored “deep red”. Perhaps you could even describe it as blood red…

I think that this red Poneglyph is a poneglyph that describes a story of death. Could it be a gruesome battle during the void century? Some catastrophe? Perhaps it may just be a representation of the many lives lost during the course of the void century.

My favorite idea, however, is that the Red Poneglyph specifically tells the sad story of Wano Kuni during the void century. Whereas most poneglyphs focus on the Ancient Kingdom and the general history of the void century. I think this is Wano’s Poneglyph.

It’s hard to be sure exactly though, but for sure, this Poneglyph does not contain good news.

Let me know what you think!

Crocodile was a woman – Myth & Fact

Myth: Ivankov knows a secret from Crocodile’s past, that nobody else knows, and Ivankov can change people’s gender, leading to speculation that Crocodile used to be a woman and had Ivankov change her to a him. In Episode 0 we only see the back of Crocodile’s head, suggesting that he was different back then and that Oda wants to keep it a secret for now.

Fact: So far, nothing has been confirmed. In the SBS for Volume 63 Oda drew the Shichibukai as children, and Crocodile appears to be depicted as a boy, although some have speculated that Crocodile could be a girl who dresses like a tomboy, but Oda has not yet stated anything one way or the other.

Destruction Of Fishman Island – Kaido And Caribou

Okay, this is a theory about the destruction of Fishman Island, Big Mom, Caribou, Kaido and how it all connects with each other. We all know that Madam Shyarly made a prediction about Luffy destroying Fishman Island and that, so far, everyone of her prediction have come true so there’s really no real reason to doubt that this prediction won’t come true.

          —–
Let’s start this with this theory’s key figure, if you like, Caribou. During the Fishman Island Arc we had Caribou running around all over the place, getting his ass kicked with no real meaning, he’s more or less a filler character during this arc except for stating that overconfident logias will get their ass kicked in the New World; but doesn’t he have any meaning? I believe he had one meaning and that he will play a “bigger” role if you like, in the end.

          Caribou Is Eavesdropping

Here we can see that he learned that the princess Shirahoshi is an ancient weapon, capable of destroying the world; later on, when he had learned about this, he also tried to kidnap the princess but was it for himself that he tried this? Apparently not.

Caribou Wanting Treasure and Princess Back

Here we can see that’s he specifically talking about a person that will ” Take A Shine To Him For Sure” if he can bring both of does things to that person. Even though I’m pretty sure that the person he wanted to give these things isn’t the person that will have it in the end, but it wouldn’t surprise me if his plan was to give these things to a Yonko; in the New World you either ally yourself with the Yonko or you fight them, something like that at least. I do believe that Oda will use Caribou, there is no reason to make him eavesdrop, learning such delicate knowledge and then don’t making it affect the story.

          Caribou Meeting Kaido’s Subordinates

During his cover story Caribou fights and defeat Scotch, one of Kaido’s subordinates (or something like that) and later is defeated by X-Drake who is working for Kaido at the moment. Considering that Caribou messed with something of Kaido’s (Scotch and Weapon Factory (?)) he’s probably going to have to answer to Kaido; at this point he will most likely just spill the beans and tell him about Shirahoshi trying to save his life.

          Caribou is also a type of Reindeer so that would work with Kaido’s Animal Theme. Would Kaido care about something like an ancient weapon? Of course he would, Jack is using Ceasar’s poisonous weapons to defeat the Minks and then we have this panel;

The World Might As Well Be Destroyed

Kaido is planning to start a war and, judging by this panel, he doesn’t care if the world is destroyed or not; the ancient weapon of Poseidon have the power to destroy the world.

          —–
          So, why isn’t Kaido aiming to take Shirahoshi yet? Well there could be several reasons but I’m thinking about two;
          – He doesn’t know about it yet
          – He does know about it but attacking Fishman Island at this point in time is attacking Big Mom, you don’t believe me?
          – Being preoccupied with other things too, like Raizo etc.

Luffy: I’m Going To Beat You Up

From these panels I read it like “Fishman Island is still your territory but I will find you, beat you up and make it my own territory” so, at the moment, Fishman Island ISN’T Luffy’s territory yet; even if Kaido knows that Shirahoshi is there he will probably think twice about clashing with another Yonko and I don’t know a surprise attack is viable considering the power of knowledge the Yonko’s seem to have. Also, Big Mom would be really interested in Kaido’s reason for attacking her -> Maybe finding out about Poseidon.

Will this change? Well, Luffy will go after Sanji soon and he said he would kick Big Mom’s butt; it wouldn’t surprise me if Big Mom is the Yonko to go down first and when she does he will put his flag to mark the island as his territory; which is my last point.

          —–
          By now Kaido will know about Shirahoshi and he will also know about Doflamingos downfall; and about the person who stopped Doflamingo and thus himself in his tracks, this person is Luffy. Kaido will go after Luffy and he have at least two reasons for attacking Fishman Island;

          – Easily getting to Luffy, punishing him.
          – Shirahoshi and poseidon will be there

          This fight between Luffy and Kaido will be the end of Fishman Island. Luffy is also the person that is responsible for both reasons Kaido does attack Fishman Island;

          – Angered Kaido, marked the Island with his flag.
          – He brought Caribou to the island and thus the secret about Poseidon leaked.

So, what do you think? Is it farfetch’d or plausible?

“VITO’S CONNECTION WITH SANJI AND ZEFF” – “VITO’S DEVIL FRUIT”

We see in that panel, that someone from the ship, that saved Sanji said: “I must’ve heard them during the storm 3 months ago. Now there are some things I gotta mention.

How can you hear somebody through a storm? A storm should be to loud, especially from range.

They didn’t mention a fight between pirates, therefore I assume it was in range.

            Now look at Vito’s sign:

            Doesn’t it resemble a bat?

Wings, ears and tail. The second arrow is the steak, that got pierced through Dracula’s heart.

I assume this, because Vito and Dracula lookalike.

I know he is based on another person, but he doesn’t look like the person he’s based on.

So I assume his look got based off of Dracula and resembles his Devil Fruit Powers

Now this is how I am connecting this. A bat is able to send ultrasonic waves and the sounds will reflect back through echoes. I assume Whit was on that ship, that saved Sanji and that he ate the Bato Bato No Mi, model Vampire. I will write later about his Devil Fruit Powers in this theory.

We also know from one of the newest chapters, that Sanji would get a present box with someone’s head into it. Vito told Sanji something, that made Sanji come with them. I assume he told him, that he knows about Zeff and that Zeff’s head would be in that present box. There was even one panel, where it got stated that:

“It could even be someone from the Barriete Restaurant”, and why would Oda include this?

It has to have some reason in my opinion.

We also know, that Zeff is most likely the only person, that Sanji really cares about, when it comes to “real family.” He didn’t grow up with the Vinsmokes. The panel also mentioned, that it could be one of the Okama, but I don’t think, that Sanji cares, that much about them as we’ve seen. I also think, that Sanji trusts Luffy enough, that he can protects his crew. I really think, that Zeff is the reason.

Now let’s get to Vito’s Devil Fruit Powers.

As I’ve already mentioned he has Vampire Abilities and resembles a vampire(mainly Dracula), from his look.

            He has black fingernails.

He wears sunglasses, which protect him from the sun.

            He has a long tongue.

He is also called the “Monster Gun”, and Vampires were known to be monsters.

Furthermore vampires were able to use telekinesis. Look at the sound effect of the pistol. Its the sound effect when a thing starts to move. He also makes the same hand pose as a telekinesis user.

He can also use magic, like vampires could.

His hands are very large and Vampires hands were also very large.

Chopper clearly stated, that he thought, that there were only “two enemies.” And let’s be honest here. Chopper is not, that weak, that he can get overwhelmed that easily. It was a sneaky overwhelming. Its strange, that Vito just appears and disappears in all of the panels.

Either he was a bat and transformed back behind Chopper and Nami or he was hiding in the dust, because
Vampires could do these two things, but there was no steam before they went into Capone’s body, so I would delete the second possibility.

Or there is even the possibility, that he was very fast, because Vampires have superhuman speed and that might also be the reason how Chopper didn’t see him coming.

Sanji called himself “the hunter”, if you remember it. He already hunted a wolf and next time he will fight against Vito and hunt a Vampire. Werewolfs and Vampires are both mythical creatures, that got hunted.

Now you might argue, that Jyabura is not a “werewolf”, but I don’t think it has to be necessarily a werewolf, if we clearly get a connection there. Or maybe Jyabura can transform into a werewolf, when he improves his Devil Fruit Powers. Maybe his Zoan is capable of more wolf forms, when we see him the next time.

We have only seen Rob Lucci changing the forms of his Devil Fruits. Jyabura could’ve learned it too.

I think, that Vito is from Big Mom’s Crew, because of some reason:

Vito is only the “advisor”, of the Firetank Pirates.

I haven’t seen any crew yet with an advisor role yet and an advisor role wouldn’t make sense anyways
because why does someone gets called an advisor in a crew? Sanji makes smart things too, does that make him the advisor? I think “advisor”, is meant as cooperating with somebody.

Big Mom allies abnormal Crew Mates and Vito is abnormal if he resembles a vampire.

I think Vito will fight against Sanji, because:

Vampires have superhuman speed = Sanji’s specialty is speed and observation Haki.

Vampires could also transform into a hybrid form, that flies = Sanji uses Sky Walk.

Sanji hunted a wolf and called himself “the hunter”, and he will also hunt a vampire.

They both seem to be the smart ones as we know about Sanji’s doings (Mr.Prince, Arc Maxim etc.)

I assume Vito is very smart too, because he has an advisor role. And he seems very smart as from the things he did (blackmailing Sanji, overwhelming Chopper and Nami to get Sanji into Capone’s deal etc.)

Sanji would improve much in observation Haki in that fight and also overall combat ability. I think from all the things I’ve mentioned before Sanji is the perfect opponent against Vito.

Imagine an enemy, who has good observation Haki, who can fly, who has some nice quick gun moves, who’s very fast against Sanji.

Thanks for checking out my theory

FORESHADOW OF ZORO’S ARC IN ONE PIECE COVER PAGE!

When I was going through all colored cover pages, some of the pages got my attention. Those pages had “SH with Samurai costume”. So I searched all cover pages and arranged in chapter vise.

In Chapter 70 cover page, left bottom, below Usopp, there is a face. When I see that face, suddenly I remembered “Kin’emon” face.

Oda already designed or thought of samurai in his mind.

After in Chapter 310 cover page, right bottom of page. I saw “SHIBARAKU” word. So I searched it. But that searched result shocked me.

Shibaraku is among the most popular pieces in the classical Japanese dance-drama. The plot centers around the figure of Kamakura Gongorō Kagemasa, who has become the stereotypical bombastic hero of the classical Japanese dance-drama, with red-and-white striped makeup and strong, energetic movement. The historical Kamakura Kagemasa is famous for his bravery for having continued to fight after losing an eye in battle in the Gosannen War (1083-1087).

Kamakura Kagemasa lost one eye in Gosannen War. Zoro also have scan on his Left eye. Zoro may not lost his eyes but his eye is definitely injured from someone. Oda may have taken only plot of this Shibaraku play and adding his own idea and creativity, story may be different. Or Zoro may open his left eye while battling with enemy in Wano kingdom and he may eventually lose his eyesJust my prediction according to the source of SHIBARAKU play).

Kamakura Gongorō Kagemasa (鎌倉権五郎景政) (born 1069) was a samurai descended from the Taira clan, who fought for theMinamoto clan in the Gosannen War of Japan’s Heian period. He is famous for having continued to fight after losing an eye in battle during that war.

We still yet to know full background of Zoro, since some people are saying, “He is the incarnation of Ryuma”. So, Zoro might have been a descended from one of the clan’s in Wano Kingdom.

Now we will talk about Gosannen war. The Gosannen War was part of a long struggle for power within the warrior clans of the time.

So lets assume that, “Wano kingdom will be having Power struggle between clan’s and one of the clan approached Kaido for support since wano Kingdom is not under WG. When KAIDO came to wano, he will defeat other clan members and finally he will cheat the clan which hired him. So after that Kaido will take control of Wano kingdom.”

Let’s continue with our SHIBARAKU drama – The climactic moment of this dram takes place when a goodly samurai is being assaulted by a number of villains. Kagemasa shouts “Shibaraku!” (Stop a moment!) loudly from behind a curtain (agemaku) and then steps out onto the hanamichi (a raised platform extending through the audience to the stage) in magnificent costume and makeup. Arriving at the stage, he sits on a stool (aibiki) and, in a special kind of monologue called tsurane, explains his story. He then drives the villains off.

We already know that, Kaido’s men’s are chasing that Kagetsu Clan members with Kin’emon, Momonoske and Kanjuru. As per current situation, SH will divide as two group and one group with Luffy will head for “Whalecake Island”. Another group having Zoro will advance to Wano kingdom.

Oda again, foreshadow the fighting between Zoro and Wano clan members.

In Chapter 526, We can see. Tiger and Dragon are seeing each other with killing intent.

Through Kin’emon, Oda again foreshadow the fight in chapter 816.

              Last but not least:

-In chapter 547 cover page. We can see all the pirates in Samurai costume, who are all escaped from Impel Down. We may expect Crocodile and Mr 1 inwano kingdom as well as Jinbe(we need new member to fight with Kaido).

-In chapter 582 cover page. While SH are playing game, we can see a cat wearing thrown in cover page. It indicates “Master Nekomamushi”. He may eventually join SH for his revenge.

-In Chapter 710 cover page. Usopp and Chopper are in different costume. Especially Usopp(in old man costume). Usopp may use this costume in Wano Kingdom for hiding himself, like in Water 7 how he used a mask.

BONNEY HAS NEVER BEEN CAPTURED – Akainu’s secret coup d’état

Hello guys! There is something that came to my mind when I thought about Jewelry Bonney and her connection to the WG. Something that I couldn’t just keep for myself. I am excited what you guys think about it. So here I go…

So first of all, I know all the theories out there concerning her possible connection to the WG, more specifically being the one that keeps the Gorosei alive. I am not gonna argue against the idea in general, but there is one part that bothers me ever since I first read it. Most people think that Bonney was able to escape Akainu/ the WG because she and her powers are so important to the Gorosei. Therefore, they had to keep her alive and she somehow managed to get away. But for me, this really seems like a contradiction. If Bonney really was that important, how could they let her get away? Wouldn’t they do everything to keep her locked up somewhere deep inside Maryjois, especially when they already made that mistake and let her escape once before?

I mean, we have already seen how good the WG is when it comes to keeping certain people as prisoners. The Whitebeards + Luffy couldn’t rescue Ace. Even the most dangerous pirates couldn’t escape Impel Down for 20 Years. Yet, Bonney – who isn’t even close to the power level of an Ace – could escape them? Without any help? I can’t really believe that.

As I already said, I don’t doubt that she actually is the one who keeps the Gorosei alive. Yet, I doubt Bonney would have been able to escape once again if she got caught by the government. So here is what I think that happend: Akainu never captured Bonney!

Remember, in chapter 595 we only see Akainu talking to Bonney. But we never actually saw him take her away.

                967640014342029221268027540

Akainu is not the type of guy that lets prisoners escape easily. So I think what happened is that Akainu actually freed Bonney and told her to get away and stay incognito (that’s why we’ve only seen her covering her face afterwards). Maybe he killed all of the remaning crewmates and maybe even some of the marines who witnessed the conversation between Bonney and him. This would totally fit his ‘absolute justice’.

The big question that should come to your mind now is: why would Akainu let someone with that power, someone that is so important to the Gorosei, run away?

My answer: Akainu is actually planning a coup d’état and wants (the marines) to take control over the Government.

As we can see in chapter 793, Akainu holds a grudge against the Gorosei. He disagrees with their way of doing things and obviously hates the fact the he has to take orders from them.

But Akainu has been shown to be loyal to the Government so far, some of you might say.

Yes, that’s true. I am not saying he wants to destroy the Government or something. He just wants to gain the power over it, which – at the moment – belongs to the Gorosei. Plus, he had to be loyal to become the fleet admiral in the first place.

I also think that this kind of move would totally fit his character. He has shown to be a very strict man who would rather surpress his enemies with force than negotiating or even compromise with them. So a lot the government respectively the Gorosei does (for example the Shichibukai system, spreading false information, etc.) does not really fit to his way of thinking. A coup d’état would make perfect sense for him.

But Akainu ain’t stupid. Actually fighting the Gorosei would make him an enemy of the Goverment and therefore he would never be able to take controle over it. So when Blackbeard called to offer the deal to him, Akainu came up with the idea to free Bonney. This way, the Gorosei will start to get older again and since most of them are already pretty old, they will sooner or later die. And this is the moment Akainu and the marines make their move and take the power over the World Government.

                In short:
Akainu wants to take over the control of the Government, because he disagrees with the Gorosei’s way of doing things. But since he can’t risk to openly fight them, he uses Bonney ,who’s Power keeps the Gorosei alive. When Blackbeard captured her, Akainu let Bonney escape so that the Gorosei coldn’t make use of her power and therefore would sooner or later die of age. This way, Akainu could take over the Government without risking to look like a traitor or enemy.

Please tell me whether you think this is possible or not! Thanks for reading.

DEATH OF THE TREES AND THE TRUTH OF DEVIL FRUIT’S WEAKNESS

Time for another theory based on extrapolating predictions from references Oda makes to other works. But I have something a little different for you this time. The subject of today’s theory is J.R.R Tolkien

Yep, Tolkien. Of course the author of one of the most beloved fantasy series of all time. But where are these references in One Piece?

I suppose i’ll start with the trees since I mentioned them first in the title. We’re all familiar with One Piece’s Adam and Eve, but did you know that Tolkien’s universe also features two important trees? More specifically, the Two Trees of Valinor. The Two Trees of Valinor were sources of light, one representing the sun and the other the moon. Now Eve’s affiliation with sunlight is entirely obvious, and i’m sure people who have been reading my series for a long time are familiar with my assertion that Adam is on the moon. Furthermore, the Trees of Valinor were created by Yavanna, referred to as the “giver of fruits”. This further links Adam and Eve to the origins of Devil Fruits

But the title mentions the trees dying, and i’m sure you’re wondering where i’m going with that. So moving on. The Two Trees of Valinor were eventually destroyed by Ungoliant. Ungoliant was the first spider, and was said to consume light and excrete darkness. Surely this sounds familiar to all of you –

That’s right, Blackbeard. I believe that at some point Blackbeard will be responsible for the destruction of Adam and Eve, perhaps as part of his ongoing goal to monopolise powerful Devil Fruits

Not that this will be permanent of course, as in Tolkien’s universe it is prophesied that the trees will be revived from the breaking of the Silmarils, which contain the last traces of their light. The prophecy also refers to the flattening of a mountain range, which in this case refers to the destruction of the Red Line at End of Series

Now to the second part of the title – The weakness of Devil Fruits. I’m sure some of you have seen a theory going around which makes reference to a substance called Pyrobloine

Pyrobloine is a substance found in Seastone which is ejected by volcanoes. Given that it is present in island cloud it must also logically be present in sea cloud, which weakens DF users as normal water does. But what people seem to have missed is that the sea itself would also have a very high concentration of this substance. Why? Underwater volcanoes. Of course, made a huge deal out of on the journey to Fishman Island, underwater volcanoes will also expel this substance into the surrounding waters

The surrounding waters are of course host to something significant to this mystery. The roots of Eve. I stand by my prediction that Eve is where the Devil Fruits grow. Logically this means that they contain Pyrobloine, as it would be absorbed by Eve’s roots as they draw nutrients from the surrounding sea water. I’m currently unsure of the specifics of why this weakens Devil Fruit users but for some reason the Pyrobloine in their bodies seems to react to other substances containing it. Given that Devil Fruits affect the bodies of their users and not their souls (confirmed by Tashigi’s use of Smoker’s power after their body swap)

it would be reasonable to assume that their cells are being altered, meaning the weakening is likely tied to that. Speculative guess would say that Pyrobloine in some way affects the Mitochondria, which of course generate energy for cells and if stopped would result in the loss of their powers and energy. Given it’s presence in Skypiea it’s reasonable to assume that Pyrobloine is very easy to transfer airborne, which means it may also be the cause of DFs transferring to nearby fruits as it alters the cells of it’s new host after travelling through the air

This can also be tied to Tolkien. If a Devil Fruit were to be thrown into a volcano, what do you think would happen? The cells and Pyrobloine that cause it to have it’s power would likely return to the massive concentration of it in the magma, erasing it and permanently destroying the fruit in question. But why is this relevant?

One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them”

What do you get if you replace “Ring” with “Fruit”? The Yami Yami no Mi. The Yami will be destroyed after Blackbeard’s death to prevent another like him appearing, mirroring the end of the Lord of the Rings trilogy

BROOK, HIS POSSIBLY PAST AND WHAT’S NEXT FOR HIM

Now Brook is one of my favorite characters in the Manga, he’s had very little character development compared to the rest of the SH’s and his past is very much unknown. One thing i’d like to note from the start is the sbs where Oda reveals the nationalities of the SH’s

                    Luffy is Brazilian
                    Zoro is Japanese
                    Nami is Swedish
                    Usopp is African
                    Sanji is French
                    Chopper is Canadian
                    Robin is Russian
                    Franky is American
                    Brook is Austrian

This information will help you better understand the rest of the theory so i got it out of the way. Lets start with Brook’s name

                    Brook

As a Noun: A Small Stream

As a Verb: Tolerate of Allow

Brook’s character has always held steady and pretty much allowed anything to happen unless it involves threatening his Nakama, his personality basically is him tolerating any and everything that happens around him, despite being picked on or made fun like how franky and brook spoke still he had a smile on his face and enjoyed the presence of another person despite what harsh criticisms may come his way.

Austrian history actually helps further prove this as being Oda’s subtle hints, in 1955 after WW2 Austria was found to be an independent and sovereign state.

October 26, 1955 Austria made a pact that they would stay neutral and out of any military conflict, it also states it will not allow military from other countries to set up and wage war on their country.

                    Brook’s Past

First thing i’d like to point out, Gekko Moriah had nothing to do with Brook’s “Death”, he said it happened some decades ago while clearly he lost his shadow like 5 years ago pretimeskip, 7 years ago post timeskip.

Notice Sanji’s reaction, he even goes as far as to be worried about what he’s hearing i don’t believe this is his manners since he gets made but his reaction is far more related on being concerned.

Brook said what? “I was promised i could live a second life”. Ok so this is where i’m getting suspicious, who would go out of their way to give Brook a Devil Fruit. Another thing, if somebody gave Brook this DF which we all know you only find out once you eat it, but had the knowledge of the DF beforehand means they’d of had to study the Devil Fruits with a book.

Notice that Brook does not at all specifically mention who attacked him, if it was pirates he’d likely just say that but i believe he was attacked by Germa 66. First off i do understand Brook used to be with a Battle Convoy of a certain Kingdom, but i do not however believe Warmonger or Germa 66 has any direct relation.

Proof on Brook’s DF having no relationship to Gecko Moriah

Brook’s light Bone’s allowing him to run on water

                    More info on Brook’s past

                    Brook’s Fencing

Seeing as Ryuma has Brook’s personality it’s clear that Brook was specifically trained in Fencing, his fighting style resembles a mix of Fencing and Iaido(replacing sword from scabbard cutting and returning it)

Fencing is traditionally French, Iaido is associated with Japan, French and Japanese words consist of Brook’s fighting moves.

                    Why was Brook targeted?

I have two options that make sense

Option A. For his Devil Fruit

Option B: Something he learned during his job as the leader of a Battle Convoy

We know Germa 66 is essentially hitmen for hire, mercenaries if you will. And it’s a mythical army commanded by Sanji’s father and they deal heavily in the Black Market. Blackbeard can’t be the only person targeting DF”s and i believe revival is quite an ability.

I fully expect Brooke to target and fight Germa 66 i believe we will learn more in the upcoming chapters but it’s clear its Germa 66 who wiped Brook and his crew out.

During the first part of WW2, the Austrians fought with the Germans, i believe Germa 66 to be related to the Nazi troops a hidden army, the Nazi’s did alot of crazy things, the Death Camps, Weapon Improvements, Immoral Experimentation, As i said earlier in the video eventually Austria became it’s own country. Perhaps it’s because Brook’s country is an ally of Germa 66, it would help explain why he decided to become a pirate, to get away from constant warfare. One thing that is strange is that Brook has said nothing about his country of origin as if he’s trying to forget about it.

The people he cares about are Laboon, the Rumbar Pirates, and the SH Pirates, but no one from his country seems to interest him.

I am not certain now one hundred percent but i hope the theory helps shed some light onto the skeleton dead bones Brook
