ZOU, THE LIVING PONEGLYPH

I made a couple conclusions after thinking about last chapter:

– Unless Oda is being a massive troll, we can assume Sanji got captured in some way.

Immagine16
– It’s confirmed that Jack is no longer on Zou.
– The Mink (other than the guards) seemed rather relaxed. That leaves me to believe that there is no IMENENT threat to them as of right now. Also meaning there is no major antagonist on the island at this very moment.
– Chopper was dressed up as a King and the Strawhats were welcomed like royalty with banquet and all.

Following these conclusions i started thinking about what is left to do on Zou. Zou seems like too unique of an island to just hop on, find out about Sanji, and then hop off to go find him. Even if Nami presumes Sanji is dead instead of just captured, Luffy and Zoro (we all know Zoro and Sanji secretly have a bromance) would leave for revenge immediately imo.

So there’s no threat or antagonist right now and when everyone is filled in about Sanji next chapter the Strawhats won’t have time to celebrate with the Mink for too long. Is that all there will be to Zou?

My answer is no and here is why i think why:

I think Zou, or Zunisha, is a living poneglyph. Not like any other poneglyph where text is inscribed into a special rock/stone. The “poneglyph” im talking about is Zunisha’s memory. Zunisha is a ancient elephant that lived over a thousand years. As everyone concluded by now, Zunisha was around during the void century 800 years ago. It experienced what happened during that time. Specifically what happened to the Minkmen during this age.

One of the characteristics of elephants is that they have an amazing memory. I’d say this is needed if u want to recall something that happened 800 years ago. Is it a coincedence that the ancient creature who was around during the void century, also has this characteristic unique to it’s species? It might be, but i’d like to think not.

So poneglyphs are normally Robin’s specialty, but in this case it’s time for Chopper to shine. Chopper hasn’t really had much spotlight in the New World. The only thing of importance he has done in the NW is taking care of the kids on Punk Hazard. I think it’s about time for him to get a moment of great significance.

As we all know, Chopper can talk to animals. Correct me if i’m wrong here, but i believe Chopper is the only creature in the One Piece world that can communicate with ALL other living creatures. That also means he is the only one who could translate between animals and humans or translate from Zunisha to Robin and the rest. Is it a coincedence that the only one who could possibly translate Zunisha’s memories is a Strawhat? Maybe, but the coincedences are stacking up.

I even believe it’s possible that Chopper has already spoken to or translated for Zunisha and that’s the reason why Chopper is dressed as a King.

    What happened to Sanji?

At the end of the last manga chapter, Chopper and Nami were shown and they appeared to be safe and in good hands. The fate of Sanji, Brook, Momonosuke and Caesar are still unknown but Nami seems to have grave news. He hugged Luffy as soon as he saw him and she was crying. Zoro was shown to notice something on Nami before all of this happened but the chapter ended at that moment.

    Immagine

A lot of people seem to agree that something bad has happened to Sanji and that whatever happened involved a fight against Jack of some sort. Some of the theories predict that Sanji was captured by Jack and subsequently the Marines or that after a tough battle his life is now so close to death that not even Chopper can save him. What do you think? What happened to Sanji? And where are Brook, Momonosuke and Caesar?

THE POSSIBLE END OF THE SHICHIBUKAI SYSTEM/ FUTURE FOR CURRENT MEMBERS

So I’ve been thinking about this a lot ever since Issho mentioned that he wants to abolish the Shichibukai system altogether, and I know that if/when that happens there will be MAJOR twists in the storyline for the current members still intact (only 5 according to the OP Wikia as of this writing).

So far, the only former Shichibukai either resigned or were defeated to have their title become invalid (minus Law, whose status was revoked for his alliance with Luffy).

      Jinbe – Resigned

Crocodile – Revoked (Defeated by Luffy)

      Blackbeard – Resigned

Moria – Revoked (Defeated by Luffy)

Doflamingo – Revoked (#rekt by Luffy)

Law – Revoked (Made alliance with Luffy)

This leaves only 5 active members in the system:

      Boa Hancock

      Kuma

      Mihawk

      Weevil

      Buggy

      12141747_1664662403771390_2589976376856152695_n1

So the only question now is, what is the fate of the current members if the system is abolished?

It’s obviously too soon to tell, and anything that could be predicted about this could be for nothing if the system stays in place, but something tells me it won’t be around forever, even if it isn’t abolished until after the Zou, Wano, Elbaf arcs, or even any arc after those. New members could be instated to bring the total back up to 7, which is likely if the system sticks around for a while, and current members could resign or have their titles revoked for whatever reason.

OR, dare I say, current members could DIE. I know Oda doesn’t like killing off characters, and only two characters in the current storyline (meaning not in flashbacks) have actually been confirmed dead (I still think Monet and Vergo are dead, but I digress), but anything is possible with Oda.

I want to now go through each current member of the Shichibukai system and talk about where I think their future is headed. I may sound batshit crazy, but that’s why this is a theory. I’m only speculating, so please be gentile with criticism.

      Weevil

I’m starting with Weevil because he’s the newest character, and not much is really known about him yet. Actually, we know basically NOTHING about him except for he (probably under the advice of Miss Bucking) is the self-proclaimed son of Whitebeard and that he has a bounty of 480 Million Beli.

I believe Weevil is going to hunt down Marco like Miss Bucking ordered, but won’t end up killing him. I believe Marco was too close to Whitebeard (being his #1), and that his role moving forward is too important for Oda to kill him off, even if Oda does eventually have more characters die. I believe Marco will be the one Commander of Whitebeards crew that Weevil won’t be able to beat. Or, he’ll end up deciding that Miss Bucking is just a lying bitch and will leave her for dead or kill her himself. I could see Weevil ending up working under Marco or possibly in the Straw Hat fleet if Luffy is present during his clash with Marco (which is not very probable, but you never know). Either way, I believe he’ll resign from the Warlords before the system is shut down.

      Mihawk

I feel like I don’t really need to say much about Mihawk, since it’s a well known fact that he’s a lone wolf badass who doesn’t really need much help from anyone, and can basically take on anyone who’s put in front of him (besides Buggy obviously). That being said, I think ol’ Hawkeye will stay with the Shichibukai until the system is abolished, but will be otherwise fine on his own after that happens. This does NOT however mean that I think he would continue to travel on his own, as he would no longer have the protection of the government. I think Hawkeye is smart enough to align with someone as equally strong, if not stronger, to at least have an ally. Shanks could be a possibility for this but who knows.

      Buggy

I REALLY don’t have a whole lot to say about Buggy. It’s obvious that the only reason he became a Warlord in the first place was because the Government is afraid of his connections with Gol D. Roger and Shanks. I think Buggy is the sort of person that would use the Shichibukai system to it’s fullest extent (because he is such a coward in the long run), and therefore it will be astronomically shitty for him if/when the system goes caput. He will stay in it for it’s entirety, barring his defeat, but will be rather screwed when it is over. He alone is the reason I think the system will be around for a little while longer, only because he and Weevil were just added recently.

      Kuma

Kuma is an interesting case. He no longer has his mind after being fully converted into a Pacifista, and is completely under the control of the WG. He will undoubtedly stay that way unless he is defeated or the Shichibukai system is abolished, but even with the latter, I feel that he will continue to be used by the WG for their purposes, unless for whatever reason he gets his mind back, which is a good possibility if he ends up on the Straw Hats’ ship. (read any of the One Piece Devil Fruit number theories for an explanation on that) If he does get his mind back, I believe it will be either Vegapunk or Franky that will be able to do that. Vegapunk because he’s a mad f***ing genius, and Franky because he’s a smart f*** that spent two years on one of Vegapunks old labs. I agree with most of the points in the Devil Fruit number theories, so I believe that even if Kuma ends up staying a WG puppet for a while, he (or his fruit) may end up on the Sunny at some point in the storyline in the future.

      Boa Hancock

Alrighty. This crazy woman is the whole reason I made this theory. Boa Hancock is the most interesting character left in the Warlords in my mind, and not just because of her hilarious affection towards Luffy. Hancock is the only one who really has a sad, meaningful backstory (the whole saddening slave thing). I think this could be a set up for something huge, which I’ll explain, although I may sound nuts. Also, she’s the only one that really has a real bond with Luffy besides Kuma, but he is a little different in that respect.

The entirety of Amazon Lily is protected by the WG because of Hancock’s status as a Shichibukai, and is what keeps the island from, quite frankly, being Buster Called. IF/WHEN the Shichibukai system is abolished, Amazon Lily as a country is, by all means, f***ed. At least to me. The WG labels the whole country as pirates, no matter if they sail on Boa’s ship or not. So if Boa ends up not a Warlord anymore, either because of her relationship with Luffy or because of a future abolition of the Shichibukai system, I believe the entire population of Amazon Lily will be forced off the island by Boa’s word before the WG can wipe the island out.

Obviously they’ll need a bunch of ships, but that’s not a huge problem. The problem lies with the WG going after the Kuja pirates as a whole. Boa will be chased down, and I feel like even though he doesn’t feel the same for her, Luffy would do everything in his power to keep her safe, as he’s helped/saved him multiple times already, so it’d be his time to return the favor.

This being said, I believe if the entirety of the island sails together after having to leave AL, that they’d be strong enough to take on Marines on their own. AND, I also think that Boa’s sisters would be strong enough in their own right to lead and command the theoretical Kuja fleet on their own. I think Luffy would want to have Boa under his protection and (this is my biggest prediction for this writing) I truly believe, that whether he asks her, or she asks him,

BOA HANCOCK WILL JOIN THE STRAW HAT CREW.

I know this is completely out of left field, and I may sound COMPLETELY nuts, but I think that this crazy theory of mine has a chance to happen, but not for a while. The Straw Hat crew only has two females, and at this point, I don’t think there would be any other female characters that would be introduced (except Luffy’s unmentioned Mother, who will definitely not be even passed in conversation for a long while), that would have any reason to join the crew. (Save the Monet talk. I’m 99% sure she’s dead). I think a character like Vivi could “rejoin” at some point, but Boa is the only other female I could see joining the Straw Hats, and the circumstances I mentioned are the only way this could even remotely happen.

THE BLACKBEARD PIRATES: PAST, ABILITIES AND FUTURE

Marshall D. Teach is my favorite character in all of One Piece and the BB pirates are by far my favorite pirate crew. I’ve been gathering info on these guys like a madman for over a month now and I’m finally done and the things I’ve found were VERY satisfying. Now my fellow crew members, join me on a voyage of darkness as we dive into the past, abilities and future of the most mysterious pirate crew in One Piece; The Blackbeard Pirates. Be warned. This is LONG as I’m going into detail with all the BBs.

        —–
Teach is currently 40 years old. He was 38 before the time skip. Teach was on WB’s ship for 25 years which means he was 13 years old when he first joined WB. Until then, Teach already had his plan in motion. Teach had already made his crew and the original members are Jesus Burgess, Van Auger, Lafitte, Doc Q and Avalo Pizzaro. Yes Avalo. I’ll get to him later. The original BB pirates are HEAVY believers in fate and there is a reason for that. Also, each BB pirate represents something negative or sinister. I’ll explain everything in a timeline scenario to better organize things.

The Ancient Kingdom(who are all Ds) was defeated by the 20 Kingdoms. One of the things that led to the D Kingdom of Ancient’s downfall was the betrayal of the Marshall D family. They feared the D kingdom would lose the war so they stole the ancient weapon Uranus and gave it to the men who would later become the Gorosei. They wanted to remain wealthy but instead of being rewarded for their help, the Marshall D family were killed off to near extinction. One of the killed Marshall Ds was the most evil and its soul forced its way inside the wand of Uranus and when the Gorosei transferred harvested souls into fruits, the Marshall D soul moved on its own and possessed a fruit, becoming the first and most powerful Devil Fruit; The Yami Yami no mi. This action was most secretly witnessed by one or more Marshall Ds, and he(they) memorized the fruit’s pattern and the Yami fruit awaiting the day when the rightful Marshall D. comes to claim it. The Marshall D family passed this information from generation to generation hoping a Marshall D will find the Yami fruit and fulfill their will of taking their world back.

Generations passed on and eventually, fate had an eye out for someone

Kid Teach looks miserable by why? Because he was an outcast. Teach was born with a birth defect called Chimera Disease. He has twins living inside his stomach like a parasite which technically means he has 3 souls. This caused him to have a bloated stomach and toss in his large nose and face, he looks like an ogre. Teach was probably teased by the other kids for looking like a freak. Not only that, Teach had a DF. Mythical Zoan: Model Oni. Oni are fat, has 3 fingered claws, has 3 eyes and their teeth fall out a lot. Fate is cruel. However, it was Teach’s time to learn about the truth of his family. His guardian told him the truth and Teach realized that is curse was actually a blessing. Instead of aimlessly hunting down the Yami fruit like his ancestors, Teach was smart. He thought of a long, clever and calculating plan for becoming the strongest. The first step is building a crew.
        ——-

        “Champion” Jesus Burgess
No Restraint/Self Control, Show Off, Overconfidence

I’m assuming Burgess was Teach’s first recruit since he is currently the 1st Division commander of BB’s fleet. Burgess’ epithet is “Champion”, he is a show off, wears a championship-like belt and is very muscular. No doubt he reminds people of a professional wrestler but I more so think Burgess is more a no holds barred type of fighter. Burgess fought in underground fighting arenas but due to his brutality and tendency to get the crowd involved, he was blacklisted because fighters were too scared to face him and fans were worried about their own safety. Fate is cruel. Burgess loved to shoe off his strength but he an’t do it anymore. However, he meet Marshall D. Teach who was impressed by Burgess’ strength. Teach recruited Teach with the promise of being able to show off and give the world an unforgettable show. Burgess accepted the offer after Teach told him his plans.

Also, his size? His super strength? Him dressing like a Gladiator? Burgess is almost a mirror reflection of Hercules in Greek Mythology. Hercules was a wrrior who killed anyone who disrespected the gods and Burgess was said to “someone who would silence even crying babies.”

        “Supersonic” Van Auger
        No Attachments

The most bland BB member. His origins are completely unknown to for me, his name and attire are giveaways. Van Augur’s name and the way he was introduced point to Roman mythology. An augur was a type of omen reader who read the future by interpreting the flight patterns of birds, much like how Augur was shooting seagulls to see which ones were fated to die painlessly. In both his appearance and abilities, Van Augur bears a number of similarities to the character Adolphus from Terry Gilliam’s film “The Adventures of Baron Munchausen”. Adolphus is one of the eponymous Baron’s henchmen, and has incredible eyesight and amazing shooting skills, able to detach an apple from a tree about nine hundred miles away. Van Augur’s hat, glasses, hair, cape and rifle all contribute to this resemblance. The film is set in 1700s Britain and Auger’s attire is that of a typical French explorer. However, Auger was intrigued by the world despite his position. Fate is cruel. BB meet Auger by chance and gave him an invite by promising him amusement and Auger accepted. “Supersonic” refers to Auger’s incredible foot speed and reaction time.

        Laffitte
        Gullibleness

Lafitte was a policeman in West Blue who was exiled for being too cruel. Question is, was he so cruel because he enjoyed it? Or because he was frustrated? I believe in the latter. From his slim build to his tap dance shoes, its easy to assume that Laffitte was atleast an entertainer and that he enjoyed being able to entertain. However, his abilities were more suited for combat and so the leader of his kingdom forced him to become a police officer instead. Fate is cruel. It was hard for me to figure out what his abilities were until I read a series called Rosario+Vampire. One of the creatures in that series is called a Siren. Sirens are female humanoid like creatures with a large wing span and a hypnotic voice that leads gullible sailors to their doom. Laffitte is a mythical Siren zoan. Its the reason why Laffitee looks feminine. Teach ran into an exiled Laffitte, who developed navigational skills from being on his own, and offered him a place on his ship as an entertainer. Of course, Lafitte couldn’t refuse.

        “God of Death” Doc Q
        Death, Pain, Fear

Probably the funniest and creepiest BB member. Everything about Doc Q screams death. Doc Q’s epithet “God of Death” also means Grim Reaper. The grim reaper’s purpose is to reap souls and spread death. Doc Q looks eerily similar to an undertaker whose job is to cremate dead bodies. Doc Q has the Death Death no mi. Doc Q can control the aspects of death. By touching you, he can infect you with a way of death but each death is ineffective against someone strong so he has to stack it overtime.

In this scan, Doc Q was referring to Luffy not being blown up by his explosive apples(death by explosion). That rope around his neck is a noose which is “death by hanging/suffication.” He can also cause “death by disease.” The reason Doc Q is so sick is because of the side effect of eating the Death Death no mi. He feels all the ways of death the fruit allows and he can’t die from it. His horse Stronger is always sick because Q is always touching him.

Because of the side effects, Doc Q became a doctor so he can ease his own pain but it was ineffective. Or you can say Doc Q was already a doctor(who’s purpose to save lives) and eating the Death Death no mi permanently made him sick and a being who’s purpose is to take lives. Either way, Fate is cruel. Teach was impressed by Q’s strength and medical skills and invited him with the promise of relieving Q of his pain. Like the others, Teach told Q of his plans to unlock the secrets of DFs which would help Q’s condition. With that, Q was able to get used to his condition and joined the BB pirates.

        Avalo Pizarro “The Corrupt King”
        Corruption, Arrogance

Avalo is a special case. Unlike the other original BBs, Avalo Pizzaro probably doesn’t think too much about fate but his strength more than impressed Teach. Avalo Pizzaro has the Drill Drill fruit. He can turn his hands into drills and those gauntlets? They work as generators to increase heat and piercing power. We know Pizzaro was a Impel Down prisoner and that someone dug Level 5.5. Also, Pizarro was never wearing priosn rags. As I said earlier, Pizarro has always been a BB pirate. I’m assuming Pizzaro was literally a king running his kingdom into the ground. Drills are used to stab, skewer and impale and Pizzaro’s epithet is Corrupt King.” Avalo Pizzaro reminds me of the brutal and corrupted Vlad The Impaler. I don’t how exactly BB convinced Pizzaro, but Teach told Pizzaro his plans after defeating him and Pizzaro agreed. Pizzaro took his corruption to the seas but hid his DF ability. He needed to into Impel Down to confim the existence of a Level 6 via dendenmushi.

The BB pirate’s plan was now in motion. They temporarly disbanded and Teach set his sights on joining WB’s ship to increase his chances of finding the Yami Yami no mi. Everything was up to fate. Will it be cruel? Or will be lucky?

Before he could join WB joined though, Teach ran into a man well know very well; Shanks(22). Shanks tired to test Teach to see if he was “The One” but Teach’s turned out to be treacherous and attacked Shanks with his Mythical Oni zona which gave Shanks his scar. Many people think it was because of Teach’s claws, but not only does the claw has 4 blades, blades scars leave thin scars.

        ———
As your know, fate was looking out for Teach yet again. He has done it. Teach has done what his predecessors couldn’t and found the Yami Yami no m

The first and most powerful DF there is and what luck. He runs into the 2nd division commander of the WB pirates when he wants to become a shichibukai and take WB’s powers.

The Yami Yami no mi is the strongest shield. When mastered, Blackbeard can have the footing around him covered in darkness as well as have a cloud of darkness covering his body. Any attack coming at him will get sucked into empty space but there will be gaps in the darkness clouds of course.

The Yami fruit also has a great radius. BB can send a hurtling mass of darkness flying at his enemies.

        ——————

Blackbeard became a shichibukai and set the next step of his plan in motion; breaking into Impel Down and recruiting the strongest people in Level 6. Once again however, Blackbead was in luck. Monkey D. Luffy did all the work for him and out of all the people in the Impel Down arc, Blackbeard was the true winner.

        Shiryu “of the Rain”
        Bloodlust, Curses

Shiryu wields a sword called the cursed Kusenagi which means “Grass Cutter Sword.” Those who wields the Kusenagi blade are cursed to always have it in their position, for getting into a battle without the blade means certain doom. It is unknown why he became a jailer, but its most likely to satisfy his bloodlust. His epithet “Of the Rain” is quite suspicious. We have “Foxfire” Kinemon and Jigoro “Of the Wind” who both are samurais from Wano. Could Shiryu be from Wano? Could these elemental epithets represent villages in Wano?

Catarina Devon “The Crescent Moon Hunter”
        Denial, Judgment, Bewitchment

Her epithet “Cresent Moon Hunter” speaks volumes for Ms. Devon. In Marineford, she said “You’ve all been bad boys *heart*” and attacked WB with a spear. Its like she’s delivering judgment on those she deemed have sinned. The cresent moon(left) represent the maiden turning inot a woman. The cresent moon(right) represent the mother becoming one with death. Is this foreshadowing of Big Mam dying and her DF going to Catarina Devon? Not good enough? Well then, you all should know about Witch Hunts right? In witch folklore, it was believed that witches are at their most powerful during a full moon and at their weakest during a crescent moon.

        “Heavy Drinker” Vasco Shot
        Addiction

This drunken bastard doesn”t look human…like at all. He is a fishman. Those piercings are conveniently placed on his neck where his gills would be. As a fishman, he must know fishman karate but he uses alcohol instead of water and has a Drunken Fist-like style. The drunker he gest, the more powerful Vasco becomes. When the BB pirates were first shown in the NW, all Vasco thought about was booze. He is addicted to the stuff and would kill anyone to get his hands on some more.

San Juan Wolf “The Great Battleship”
        Destruction

The largest creature in the world.

Honestly, I have no idea what Wolf is. I can’t say where he came from without it being 90% speculation. A special Elbaf giant perhaps? Bah. What I do know is that San Juan Wolf represents the Titans in Greek Mythology and the titans were the God’s greatest enemy. Maybe Saul is an extremely rare giant that is born with Titan proportions once every couple generations.

With his newly improved crew, Blackbeard kill Whitebeard…..

…and pulled off the most insane stunt in the history of the world. He has 2 DFs(3) and the 2nd major point of his plan was now complete. With his defect, the soul of the Gura would naturally nest inside the remaining parasitic twin and it did. But do to the Yami fruit being able to claim dominance over any other DF souls, it allowed Teach to use the Gura power.

        ———–
Two years past and the world is now in the dawn of the Worst Generation era with Blackbeard as the forerunner and he is currently on a DF hunt.

Did you guys know that the original 4 Yonkou WB, Shanks, Big Mam and Kaidou are represented by the 4 Holy Beast of Japan?

        Whitebeard-Byakko-White Tiger
        Shanks-Suzaku-Red Phoniex
        Big Mam-Genbu-Black Tortoise
        Kaidou-Seiryu-Blue/Azure Dragon

The 4 Holy Beast govern the east, west, north and south seas and in the center, there is no holy beast. Only darkness, voidness and emptiness. BB has already replaced Byakko and will eventually replace them all. The first of which will be “Hundred Beast” Kaidou.
Once again, Luffy will do all the dirty work for Blackbeard and BB will be the real winner. Big Mam will suffer the same fate. Luffy n’ company will do all the work and BB will claim her DF.

In Dressrosa, while Luffy n’ company dealt with Doflamingo, Jesus Burgess has already stole all the SMILE which makes Blackbeard the real winner of that arc.

Against Shanks however, it won’t be easy but the Blackbeard pirates will emerge victorious with Shanks being killed by Blackbeard himself.
        VS

Before anyone starts talking about SH vs BB match ups, please know that battles are never completely 1v1. Match ups gets switched around and enemies are usually beaten before the final decisive battle. In Alabasta, Mr.3, 5 and below were already beaten before the final battle with Bargoue Worls. In Enies Lobby, Blueno was beaten before the SHs got inside the Judicial Tower.
        ————-
Blackbeard Will Be The Final Villain

All main villains in One Pece are portrayed as Luffy’s opposite but at the same time, a mirror reflection. Teach however is different. He is Luffy’s “foil”. In literary terms. a foil a character that has many similarities with the main character but differs in one critical way. While Luffy gets stronger by surpassing his limits, Teach gest stronger through theft, deception and murder.

Blackbeard as a villans is so human in nature. Most villains in mangas(and One Piece) are these unflinching assholes that do everything right and never seem to struggle, show signs of fear, or be in pain until the moment the protagonist beats him/her. Blackbeard ain’t like that. He gets what he wants through blood, sweat, and sorrow. He isn’t afraid to be afraid and just keeps getting stronger. Out of the entire series, Blackbeard fits the pirate archetype the most. Blackbeard is a true pirate. Both Luffy and Teach have big dreams and are fulfilling the Will of D in their own unigue way/

Remember what I said about BB coming out as the true winner? Well once again, Luffy will do all the work for BB. Luffy will find One Piece and destroy the WG. All BB has to do is kill Luffy and he’ll have everything. The question is, who’s fate will be cruel? Who’s fate will be defied?

Luffy and Teach are at a crossroads. One will fulfill his dream and the other will perish. The fate of the world, the fight for freedom, the Will of D, it will be decided in this final climatic encounter beneath the terrible storm of an eclipse. ‘D’ will forever bring a storm.

          The Whale Forest in Zou

          *Chapter 804 Spoiler

The Whale Forest, and the Whale tree particularly caught my eye in chapter 804. It was the center of the panoramic panel and is incredibly obscure and strange, which makes me believe there is some immense significance to this strange Whale.

I’ve had a belief for a while, following the ideas of the Great Trees in One Piece, that there are three Great Trees that produce different Devil Fruits. We already know about The Treasure Tree Adam (Strongest Tree) the Tree of Knowledge (containing the worlds greatest Library) and Sunlight Tree Eve (Providing light at the bottom of its roots in the ocean). Now, what do they all have in common?

They’re all part of the Garden of Eden. The scene of the bible in which the first man and woman were born. Adam and Eve. The tree of knowledge was also one of the trees in the Garden of Eden. There was another tree called the Tree of Life. The tree of life is often considered to be just one tree in the One Piece world. But the Tree of Life had three distinct features:
          1. Animals were drawn to it
          2. It was immune to the elements, e.g. wind, lightning, fire etc.
          3. It supposedly represents an immaculate state of a pure humanity, free from corruption and original sin before all

Now, the tree grew its own fruits as well. This is crucial.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, I believe that the tree of Life is embodied in three seperate Devil Fruit trees in the One Piece world. Each feature of the tree represents or bares similarities to each type of Devil Fruit. The fact animals were drawn to the tree represents Zoan (Animal) Devil Fruits. The immunity to the elements represents Logia (Element) Devil Fruits and the representation of purer humanity represents Paramecia (Superhuman) Devil Fruits.

So why do I think it’s the Zoan Devil Fruit tree? Several reasons:

          • It’s a Whale and a Tree at the same time
          • The residents of Zou take on animalistic features. The Mink Tribe may have developed these characteristics over 1000 years due to some weird scientific bullshit anomaly as a result of the tree being there. If Mink men originate from and only come from Zou, this isn’t just a coincidence
          • Zo means Elephant (the island is an elephant). Zoa is an animal of a specified kind. Zoanthropy is a mental illness whereby somebody thinks they are an animal. Some cases have resulted in these people having surgery to look like these animals. This may be inspiration for the Minkmen

I also believe it could be the source of Zoan devil fruits due to plot relevance. I mean, Caesar, the leading producer and researcher of SMILE (artificial Zoans) is on the island! Kaidou, likely the worlds strongest Zoan, who has an army of Zoan fruit eaters is now getting more involved and has subordinates on the Island as well

Let alone the fact everyone on the island, and the island itself is an animal!

MISS BUCKING & EDWARD WEEBLE’S POSSIBLE ORIGINS

Firstly, I would like to point out that Weeble isnt WB’s son. Its not because he looks dorky/ugly but its because WB would have at least rememebered his lost family moments before he died. Also, WB isnt the type of person to go by looks… if you genuinely want to his son, he will take you in regardless of your past and looks. Weeble being old, never met WB. So he never had the chance to proclaim his place as WB’s son.

Going by Weeble’s looks and behavior, he was most probably a mamma’s boy.. but wait! What are those scars? Was it done by Moria? Or maybe Hogback? Probably a fight he had with someone strong? No.
Those scars were inflicted by Miss Bucking herself. Why would she do that? To control Weeble. Miss Bucking designed chains and spikes and kept Weeble locked up somewhere to completely tame him and his monstrous strength.
I presume she had come across an abnormally strong child, kidnapped him and completely reconditioned him(Weeble). NOTE: Weeble has a monstrous strength. And as a child he was far stronger that others. Torture and brainwash was the best option Bucking had.

Btw, a large mustache doesnt mean he is related to WB.

Why did miss Bucking resort to kidnapping? Because her own child was a disappointment

Bucking is probably a bounty hunter and a thief. She most likely used strong people in the past to work under her and gained notoriety in the NW. After her mercenaries got old, she decided to restock on new ones, Weeble being one and the other being

She was also raised by Bucking and was told the same lie- she is the daughter of WB. Bucking being a smart criminal, made sure that Bonney and Weeble never mentioned anyone about this secret citing harsh punishments or external complications(Marine involvement or pirate involvement).

Bonney managed to escape(still oblivious to the lie) but Miss Bucking kept hold of the strong one. That is why after WB died, she surfaced again and started calling herself WB’s wife and Weeble as the son. And I presume the 480 million berry was quickly granted to him because of his lineage, albeit a lie, and also due to the fact that someone had suddenly arrived who could cut off former Admiral Zeyphr’s hand and decimate the crew.
              —————————
Coming back to Bonney, when she confronted BB, she blurted out the lie Bucking fed to her all those years ago… thats why BB decided to use Bonney as a bargaining chip. Here is what Akainu says

What does he meany by “fled”? Going by the context of what I wrote, ‘fled the WG’ means the way she had managed to hide her origin and escape capture.
This also explains why she went out to sea: to find her father. But as fate would have it, she was denied

              ———————————-

As for Weeble, who is his real father?

              Here’s what we know

              • he is insanely strong
              • people get reminded of a powerhouse pirate of the past
              • he is emotional(wants to avenge WB without even meeting him)
              • has long mane-like hair

His father is none other than

              Shiki The Golden Lion
              [IMG]

Shiki was insanely strong- took Sengoku and Garp to stop his rampage, but the fight destroyed half of marineford
              Has the spiky back hair
He was also emotional and outraged when he heard Roger was caught and to be executed.

Weeble inherited the inhuman strength and durability of Shiki. No wonder Kizaru comments that it reminds him of WB in his young days(maybe early 30s) whereas it is in fact the strength reminiscent of Shiki, rival of WB and Garp.

Below is the link to chapter 0 of OP. In case anyone forgot what Shiki can do, you can reread it.

              http://mangafox.me/manga/one_piece/v58/c565.5/2.html

Finally, I have a feeling BB is gonna recruit Weeble by making him his ‘son’ and make him kill his ‘mom’.

BLACKBEARD’S TRUE POWER & PLAN: GOD’S TRUE ENEMY

Hello once again everyone and welcome back to yet another theory for your entertainment. This time I shall diving into the plans and ironic lives of Blackbeard and his crew.

This may sound generic, but Blackbeard’s plan is to take the world for himself as its most powerful being. It becomes more complex when you realize that the world of OP rightfully belongs to the Marshall D. family.
-Its because of the Marshall D. family that the Tenryubittos are in control
-Its because of the Marshall D. family that the D clan almost went extinct.
-Its because of the Marshall D. family that Devil Fruits exist
-The Yami Yami no mi was the first DF to exist and it is the treasure of the Marshall D. family
-Instead of being rewarded for their assistance, the Marshall D. family was betrayed by the 2o kingdoms.
-Marshall D. Teach is simply taking his world back

Oda seemingly loves the number 3; from BB having 3 skulls one his jolly roger, to 3 winged races, to 3 ancient weapons and to 3 trees.

Pluton is linked to Treasure Tree ADAM. It is the power to take lives. It also represents men and the wood form the Adam tree is used to make strong and durable ships.

Poseidon is linked to Sunlight Tree EVE. It is the only living ancient weapon and power to control life while the tree linked to it sustains life. It represents women. Also, noticed how Poseidon can seemingly only be women?

Uranus is linked to the DEVIL fruit tree. It is the power to give life and the power of god(it where haki and DFs came from). The fruit of the DF tree gives those who eat it god-like power. Know what else is power? Knowledge. This is obviously a reference to the Tree of Knowledge in Christianity that was created by God. Who fooled Adam and Eve into eating the fruit of the tree? The Devil. Remember when I said that the Yami Yami no mi was the first fruit to exist? The first fruit was the spawn of the devil.

For the Marshall Ds, D means Devil.

Now DFs and Haki came from the same source, which is why haki can be embedded over DF abilities and once again, the yami fruit was the fruit DF to exist so naturally, wouldn’t it have superiority over that DFs that came after it?

The Yami Yami no mi is a black hole and it is the power of gravitation.

The Yami fruit also has the power to suck in EVERYTHING including devil fruit powers.

Guess what? The Yami fruit can only suck in haki and also because of the Yami fruit, Blackbeard himself cannot use haki. I’ll get more into this later.
                *********************

Blackbeard’s plans are entirely luck based and went through many changes as time went on. His original plan was a follows:
1-Join WB’s crew as it gave him the best chances of finding the Yami fruit. BB joined WB at age 13.

                2. Find strong and capable crew members and have them wait until its time to rise to the top
                3. Poison WB to make him weak so it’ll be easy to replace him.

Blackbeard collaborated with Doflamingo in taking out Blackbeard. Dont you find it weird that Doflamingo was so certain that a new era was approaching(this was in Mock Town before Ace was even captured)? Its a little reference to Greek mythology. Heaven(Doffy) and the Abyss(Teach) worked together to take out Gaia the Earth(WB).

Notice the familiar looking women and Doffy’s jolly roger on the IV to the left.

                4. After obtaining the Yami fruit, he would join the shichibukai to gain access to Impel Down and recruit more strong people into his crew.
                5. Kill off a weakened WB and replace him as a yonko

Of course, not everything goes according to plan or what BB likes to call it, fate. Thatch found the Yami fruit first so BB had to kill him and flee and BB called it a twist of fate.

Of course, Ace tracked down BB and thy had a duel. It was during this fight that BB realized that because of the Yami fruit, he could not uses haki. Every time we saw Teach, he got hit over n’ over n’ over again. He was just a punching bag.

                Blackbeard was f*cked.

The Yami fruit removes his intangibility and increases the amount of pain he feels. Without haki, BB would be no match for the big dogs of the New World. Ace was laying unconscious by his feet and at that moment, BB thought of a new plan that depended entirely on luck/fate; stealing WB’s devil fruit. Taking WB’s fruit was a last minute decision.

BB tried to make Ace his nakama tell the very end; a clear indication that BB thinks of things on the fly.

Due to the nature of his own DF, Teach believed it stealing WB’s fruit possible but as I said before, it was gamble. However, we all know how lucky BB was.

With this, Blackbeard knew how to steal DFs and his and his crew engaged in DF hunts over the timeskip. Speaking of his crew…

The BB pirates parallels with the SH pirates. All of BB’s recruits ran into a wall and BB helped build a tunnel for them. Luffy’s recruits were doing fine and pursuing their dreams, only getting into trouble when Luffy showed up.

All of the BB pirates are heavy believers in fate.

                1st ship captain

Burgess means “a person with municipal authority or privileges or an inhabitant of a town or borough with full rights of citizenship.” It also means castle or fort.

Past: Burgess has a championship belt and there are underground fighting arenas. Burgess loves to prove his strength but because his habit of getting the audience involved in his matches, Burgess was banned from the underground arenas. Such an unfortunate fate. Fortunately, Burgess meet Blackbeard who offered him a chance to show his strength off to the entire world as his subordinate.

Irony: Burgess is a champion who gets his ass kicked…a lot…..he looks like a wrestler but goes the audience killed during his matches as seen in Dressrosa.

                3rd ship captain

‘Auger’ is a tool used for boring holes in wood/in the ground(shooting holes in people with his gun)
‘Van’ means a winnowing fan, a bird’s wing(he shot down a bird in Mock Town) and forefront.

Past: Van Auger was a sniper assassin. He was called “supersonic” due to his foot speed and ability to hid his presence. However, he was different from your normal/typical assassin.

Auger shot at Ace and SMILED because Ace LIVED.

Irony: Being a sniper assassin means he’ll kill his targets quickly with no hassle, but Auger loves the thrill of the hunt and hates when his hunts are boring. Seriously this guy’s skills is all about ending things quickly before it escalates….what did he expect…..such an unfortunate fate. Fortunately, Auger meet Blackbeard who offered Auger lots off fun hunts as his subordinate.

                4th ship captain

Doesn’t Doc Q look like Dr. Hiliuk?

Past: Doc Q is from Drum Kingdom and he had some form of relationship with Dr. Hiliuk. Because of Doc’s DF ability that deals with death, Doc is always sick so he became a doctor to relieve his pain and became interested in testing the vitality and luck of others hence his apples rigged with explosives. Always being sick despite being a doctor is such an unfortunate fate. Fortunately, Fortunately, Doc Q meet Blackbeard who offered him a chance to test the true fate and luck of the world and relive himself of his pain as BB’s subordinate.

Irony: He is a doctor who is always sick…..his nickname is the grim reaper when he should be more of an angel being a doctor n’ all…..

                Blackbeard Pirate’s Navigator
                “Demon Sheriff” Lafitte
                5th ship captain

‘Lafitte’ means “a dweller at a boundary point or marker.”

Lafitte is a mythical Siren zoan.

A Siren can uses many different types of songs which includes hypnosis and removing sound. It also explains Lafitte’s giant wings in Impel Down and using hypnosis on its guards.

Past: Lafitte was a former police officer in West Blue who was exiled for torturing criminals which gave him the epithet “Demon Sheriff.” Why was Lafitte torturing criminals? Because he is a criminal thief who hates those who disgraced the way of the thief.

Lafitte was exiled from his kingdom and lost his motivation to pull of heists. Such an unfortunate fate. Fortunately, Lafitte meet Blackbeard who offered him a chance to perform the ultimate theft as his subordinate; stealing the world itself.

Irony: He was a criminal who had a job as an officer, who tortured criminals for being bad criminals and was exiled for punishing criminals……damn….

                2nd ship captain

                ‘Shiryu’ means “Death Dragon”

Past: Shiryu was a samurai from Wano who got his hands on a cursed sword and only wanted to spill blood.

Irony: Shiryu was imprisoned for killing low-life prisoners on death row by someone with the authority to kill off any prisoner whenever he wants….such an unfortunate fate. Fortunately, Shiryu meet Blackbeard who gave him the opuurtinity to slaughter anyone he wants with no consequences.

                BB Pirate’s Shipwright
                “Corrupt King” Avalo Pizarro
                6th ship captain

Avalo is short for avalon(means apple in Welsh) and it means 2 things:
1-(in Arthurian legend) the place to which Arthur was conveyed after death.
2-the Chinese Azure Dragon of the East

Past: Avalo was a king with an ambition of cybernizing his people.

Irony: Avalo was a king who lost his prestige and was ent to prison as dog, but lived like a king anyways.

                “Crescent Moon Hunter” Catarina Devon
                7th ship captain

                Catarina means Pure
Devon is a breed of red beef cattle
The Crescent moon is a holy symbol and it is believed to be where monsters and witches are at their weakest.

Past: Catarina was a holy hunter punishing sinners. So brutality was so great that she was deemed the most evil woman in piracy.

Irony: She killed in the name of all that is holy but was imprisoned for being an evil sinner……

                “Heavy Drinker” Vasco Shot
                8th ship captain

Vasco is name taken from Vasco de Gama
Shot refers to a gun(which Vasco used against WB) and to take a shot(alcohol).
Trivia: Vasco da Gama(Vasco Shot) married Catarina de Ataíde(Catarina Devon), daughter of Álvaro de Ataíde(Avalo Pizzaro)

Past: Vasco is a fishman who only cared about drinking. Without his booze, he would go on murder sprees(withdrawal symptoms) and the murders he commited were so gruesome that his existence was erased when imprisoned.

Irony: Vasco can only function properly and ne rational when he is drunk. When he is sober, he is very irrational and violent.

                “Great Battleship” San Juan Wolf
                9 ship captain(he probably IS a ship….)

Oda said Wolf is the same kind of giant like other giants we’ve seen but just abnormally large.

Juan is a Spanish/manx version of John, means the lord is gracious and means beautiful and graceful in chinese.
San is an honorific and also means three, sun, to cut down, acid, the last one and direction.

Honor? Elbaf giants believe in honor. The last one? Saul is probably the last of his kind. To cut down? Elbaf giants are warriors. Lord? Elbaf giants believe in a god that watches over Elbaf.

Past: Many have speculated that Wolf is an Elbaf giant who was defeated by the leader of Elbaf with the shrink shrink fruit.

Irony: Wolf was the largest creature where seemingly no cage could was big enough for him, yet he was actually shrunk and put n a cage…..maybe…..probably….I dont know…..

The Blackbeard Pirates are relying on DFs to be big dogs and are the very opposite of the Red Hair Pirates who are all non-DF users. Each BB pirate will represent “the strongest.”
                BB- strongest man
                Shiryu- strongest swordsman
Burgess- strongest hand to hand fighter
                Van Auger- strongest sniper
                Doc Q- strongest doctor
                Lafitte- strongest navigator
                Avalo- strongest king/royalty
                Catarina- strongest woman
                Vasco- strongest fishman
                Wolf- strongest giant

                Who will be their opponents?

                  RAIZO THE NINJA ASSASSIN

As we know, in chapter 803 this character was name dropped by Kin’emon and Kanjuro on the final page, he/she is their last comrade to find in their four person party.

I’ve done a little bit of digging around and found some very interesting links to Raizo’s name. Oda has, again, like with Kanjuro and Kin’emon, likely designed Raizo based upon a performer or actor, and their names all have implications and connotations that reside underlying their surfaces as characters. To demonstrate this, I must explain the other Samurai’s first:

                  Kin’emon and Momonosuke:

                  [IMG] mmmnnsskk[IMG]

-Their names in conjunction with eachother derive from Nakamura Kinnosuke, a Japanese actor that Oda is a massive fan of
-Nakamura Kinnosuke is a flatulist, like Kin’emon
                  -Nakamura looks like Kin’emon
-His favourite fruit was apparently peaches, Momo means peach, Momonosuke’s Kimono and Dragon form are peach coloured
-Nakamura Kinnosuke played the role of a Samurai in many movies, but he is noted for his role as a dual wielding Samurai
                  -Kin’emon has a Fox theme
                  -His epithet is “Foxfire

                  Kanjuro:

                  [IMG] [IMG]

-Kanjuro’s name means truth, “seen as it is visual”
-Although he isn’t specifically designed based upon an actor, his appearance draws many similarities with a Kabuki poser, a form of Japanese performing arts
-His talents in caligraphy strongly support this as Caligraphy is often used in Kabuki pieces, makeup also uses huge brushes, like the one he has on his back (obviously to a much smaller scale though)
                  -Kanjuro has a Bird theme
                  -His epithet is “Evening Shower

                  Raizo:

-His/her name is the same as a Ninja character from a movie called Ninja Assassin
-He/she is likely named after Raizo Ichikawa, an actor which Oda is a huge fan of, Raizo Ichikawa has been a ninja in the Shinobi no Mono movies
-In the Ninja Assassin movie, the character Raizo is played by a Korean Popstar called Rain
-Funnily enough, in the Shinobi no Mono movies, Ichikawa’s character, called Goemon, had the epithet, “of the rain

So, based upon these facts, what do we know?
-Kin’emons epithet implied he could use fire, we now know he can fight using flames in conjunction with his swords, Kanjuro’s epithet in japanese culture (not ours) implies honesty and truth which is represented visually through his caligraphy, Raizo’s epithet implies he/she can use waterin some way shape or form
-Given the roles of named characters associated with Raizo, he specialises as an assassin

The two known epithets mean it’s highly likely the Wano resident friends of ours are based on a Japanese folklore phenomena called Kitsune no Yomeiri. During wedding processions, paper lanterns can be seen floating away into the darkness, known as atmospheric ghost lights, these are nicknamed the “evening sunshower”. Kitsune means firefox and it is said that Kitsune uses trickery on people to hide his own existence, very similar to Kin’emon and Kanjuro. A Kabuki theatre piece known as Kitsune no Yomeiri Gyoretsu is performed widely. The link here is interesting, and there is a third component to the myth: Shintoist rituals relating to the myths to prevent Kitsune’s interference in Shintoist weddings.

The last component, in my opinion implies two things:

                  1. Raizo is possibly female, due to the wedding themes and the possibility of Kitsune (Kinemon’s) interference (in some cases fooling the bride by replacing the husband)
                  2. Raizo is Shintoist and designed on Shintoist monks, many of whom were and still are trained in Ninja arts (this is not to be confused with the Ninja clan that is long dead)

So what do we know? If my theory is correct, Raizo:

                  • Is quite possibly Female but will have an outward appearance of a man
                  • Is Shintoist and could look like this
                    [IMG]
                  • Fights with Water
                  • Has the epithet “of the Rain”

THE GOROSEI ORIGIN AND HOW SANJI MIGHT FIT INTO THIS

First of all, I would like for you to read this page from Shaman King explaining the five stars.

                    ****************************
The Gorosei represents the balance that each brings to the world( balance between the 3 major powers) and also their ability to create powerful beings via devil fruits.

There are also 5 deities who I believe the goreosei are based on:

                    1) Jikokuten

Epithets: King of the East, Guardian of the Nation, Kingdom Keeper
Associations = East, Strength, Spring, Water, Green / Blue

*Main characteristic I think serves as a clue: this guy carries a sword.

We know who among the Gorosei carries a sword

                    2) Zōchōten 增長天
Epithets: King of the South, Lord of Spiritual Growth
Associations = South, Summer, Fire, Red

His identity has a mini theory inside of it. I will discuss it at the end.

                    3) Kōmokuten 広目天
King of the West, Lord of Limitless Vision. Sees through Evil
Associations = West, Fall, Metal, Awareness, White

I have no idea who in the Gorosei represents him.

                    4) Tamonten 多聞天
King of the North, Lord Who Hears All
Associations = North, Winter, Earth, Wealth, Black

                    No idea who represents him.

As you can see all 4 have a direction appointed to them. So each guardian is in charge of a part of the OP world.

Jukokuten is the guardian of the East blue

Ironically although this part of the ocean is considered the weakest, although some of the most powerful people in the OP verse were found in it. Eg: Gold Roger, Rayleigh(Roger found him here), the illustrious Monkey D Family, Zorro, Yasopp, Sabo, Koshiro(?) etc.

Zōchōten is the guardian of the south blue

Kōmokuten is the guardian of the west blue

Tamonten is the guardian of the North Blue

                    One person is left out.

                    5) TAISHAKUTEN

Epithet: Lord of the Center, Commander of Four Heavenly Kings

First of all, I would like to point out that Hierarchy is important when ruling something. The 5 stars are the supreme power of the WG however, there has to be one person among them who will make the final decision when the others cannot come to common point. This person holds the supreme authority among the Gorosei.

Who is he? I believe he is this guy

How did I come to this conclusion?

Because it seems he is always placed at the center of the Gorosei whenever they are shown while the others are standing or sitting around him.

                    [IMG] [IMG]

*Main characteristic I think is interesting: can revive the dead.

                    —————–

Before I start with the guardian of the south, I need to talk about Sanji.

As the latest chapter has shown, Sanji is wanted alive. Why is that? He is part of a crew whose captain is the son of a revolutionary as well as a guy who punched a tenryuubito. Surely the CD want the whole crew dead.

Sanji was never directly shown in any wanted poster and there has always been talk of him being a prince and also the fact that he said to Kuma about being a bother to the WG in the future.

Sanji, appearance wise tries to be classy and has a gentlemanly posture. His attacks nowadays revolve around a flaming kick.

Who among the Gorosei is associated with Fire? Zachoten, Guardian of the South Blue. I anticipate Sanji got the gentlemanly features (with fire power as a foreshadowing) from his father.

This person looks sharp in the clothes he is wearing and they share blonde hair. And what seems suspicious to me is that he doesnt have eyebrows. I believe Oda decided to do that as it would be a dead giveaway to Sanji’s lineage. Why shave it? Personally I think the swirly brows look weird. Maybe he feels the same way too? In fact no one in the Gorosei seem to have eyebrows! Maybe they all hate brows or maybe it was a misdirection on Oda’s part?

Below are the pictures of the other two. You can see: NO EYEBROWS!

                    [IMG] [IMG]

So, why would this guy want to have a son in the first place?

Well, That’s where Dragon comes in. Dragon stole something valueable that was in the hands of the WG since the void century. This particular item allows longevity and youth. Since dragon stole it, the gorosei most probably decided it was time to have children to continue their work if by any chance any one of them dies.

This particular man had a child and raised the baby along with the mother in the north blue. However, Sanji somehow escaped and ended up with Zeff.

Why keep him in the North Blue and not mariejoa? Because this had to be done in secrecy and made sure that no one could even get a hint as to what was going on. If anyone know the gorosei had successors they might try to kidnap/influence the children and try to extort favors. Also, Dragon might do something to them. Thus all the secrecy. But now the lost son has returned and therefore the “only alive” poster.

NOTE: The Names that I used are not necessarily the names Oda will use for the Gorosei.
