We all know that the only person who reached Raftel was Gol D Roger… but… with all his crew! So Rayleigh, Kaido, Crocus and many others we don’t know, they all were there too. But we maybe forgetting someone. Someone we know about. YES! I mean Buggy and Shanks! They were also aboard Gol D Rogers ship as swabbies at that time. So does that mean THEY KNOW what or where the ONE PIECE is? Do they know like Rayleigh about the void century and what happened? If they really know it, why they don’t want to get to Raftel and take the One Piece? Shanks with his strength could easily get to Raftel but it seems he doesn’t care. What do you think, guys? Was Buggy and Shanks on Raftel with Roger and do they know what happened in the void century?

Shanks and Buggy most probably knows where and what One Piece is. Buggy cant reach their with his current strength and it also seems that he is not interested in One Piece but Captian John’s treachure.
There must be another reason also. Like Raftel can be only visited by a true D and his nakama. In Roger’s case he was a true D and Shanks & Buggy were his nakama. Afterall its said that Raftel is a legendary island. It must have something to do with D.
Also they most probably knows what happened in the Void Century. Void Century probably will be about D past and what they had to face and why they are the fated one.
This is just my hunch.
In my opinion, One piece is just the union of the four seas.
