ZORO AND LAW “THE BADASS DUO” VS JACK INCOMING

After the recent chapter, many people believe that we will propably have a Jack vs Strawhats showdown and i am one of them!

But, i still believe it’s gonna be a seperation between the strawhats!

Luffy will take few people with him(I believe except for Pekoms, Raizou will join him as well) and Zoro with Law will prepare for the trip to Wano!

However, there is a small obstacle… none other that Jack himself…! and i will explain why…

We know that he went on a rescue mission to save Doflamingo from getting imprison!

In addition, we know he is heading to Impel Down!

Now, let’s look the map…

As you can see,Impel Down is on the west while the strawhats are in the opposite direction(east/Zou).

We know that Jack , managed to attack the marines before reaching Impel Down!

Also, we know that he left the island the same day Doflamingo was defeated! That was 11 days ago…! And base on chapter 807(ten days ago) half of the strawhats reached Zou!

So, if i have to take a guess… the distance at that time(It’s a moving island) between Dressrosa and Zou was approximately 1-2 days at most!(read chapter 807 , it will help you understand how many days has passed since entering the NW!Base on my calculations they are 14-15 days)

Taken into consideration the analysis i just made, it’s highly possible that he managed to catch up with the navy really quick!

If we also take into the account that the navy left Dressrosa the third day after the battle…!2

It is beautifully adds up!

In my opinion, Jack managed to catch up around here!

In the proccess managed to sink two ships, but sustained some injuries and considered dead…

However,he failed to retrieve doflamingo and base on the last chapter, he is alive and by the looks of it, he is been accompanied by a large fleet!

So, guys let’s refresh our memory!

What was his initial mission?
To retrieve Raizou!
And where he is now?
He is on Zou!
So, what he is going to do?
He is going to complete, his unfinished mission!

I think it’s a pretty logical way of thinking , don’t you think?

Even if he wants to go somewhere else, he has to pass to Zou…!

I think it’s very unlikely to move on , straight to Big Mom’s tea party… I doubt he even knows anything about it…

Also, take note that the battle between him and the navy occured around 8 days ago(11-3=8…xD)!

He had 8 whole days to rest,to heal,to prepair(fleet)and to travel back on Zou to put an end to his unfinished business!

So, he must be pretty close to Zou!

That means a SHOWDOWN!I can feel the hype!:)

In my opinion, since there is the Sanji matter on one hand and the Jack matter on the other , they will have no choice but to split!

But why split and not go all together to save Sanji?

1.Luffy said he will go alone, although i doubt he will be completely alone… he will take at least two![Pekoms and Raizou(stealth)… they will sneak!]

2.I think it was foreshadowed that, it’s going to be a match between Zoro vs Jack!
a)They both are the right hand man of their captains!
b)They both use swords as weapons
c)When the minks were talking about Jack, Oda focused on Zoro twice for a reason!c011

3.There is no way Zoro, will go after Sanji after making that speech1

4.The strawhats befriended the minks and i don’t think they will leave them at their fate…Luffy will entrust Zoro with the mission to protect them any way he can!I believe Law will stay too, since his good friend Bepo is from Zou!Let’s not forget they are still many of them injured

5.Lastly… maybe one of the biggest mysteries… the moon!
We have yet to be relieved , what happens when the full moon is out!

I think i gave you some solid points!

To move on with the last part of my theory!

The last part of this theory will be a speculation, but if you think about it , it will might make some sense!

I think in this fight we will have a Law and Zoro vs Jack battle, like we had the Law and Luffy combination against Doflamingo!
So, this combination could be turn out to be true!

Also, they are similar in personalities…both badass, cool, serious and bloodthirsty when they fight!

In my opinion, this duo will be amazing!

To conclude, i think we will have a big revelation regarding Zoro’s past from the moment he will release his demonic spirit!
Yes, i think this will be the fight that we will see him go all out!

This will be the moment when Zoro will trully connect to Wano and it will ignite his desire to go to Wano even more and learn about his past and lineage!

I don’t know how the fight will turn out… but i believe , during this fight Jack will tell him about his demonic/cursed clan or lineage and to how he might connect to one of his future enemies!

I hope you enjoyed my theory

THE VOICE OF ALL THINGS AND THE RED PONEGLYPH: WHAT DOES IT SAY?

Hey guys, here’s my take on the Red Poneglyph!

Something that has been curious to me for several chapters now is why exactly is Momo sick? It has been stated that he “doesn’t feel well” and has been in his room almost since arriving on Zou.

As they head toward whale tree, Oda specifically writes that Momo is still feeling “terrible“.

Kinemon suggests to Momo “wait at the bottom”. Perhaps this indicates that he is feeling worse as he heads closer to the whale tree.

    Here’s where it get’s juicy.

Momo says that the closer he gets to whale tree, the more he can hear this “loud voice”. Kinemon comments that Momo is much like his Father and Neko and Inu bring up another person who is “much the same”.

I really think this voice Momo hears is the “voice of all things”. It is very conspicuous that only Momo can hear this voice, given Franky possesses “super hearing”. Neither the minks nor the Samurai are very surprised. Perhaps this suggests others have heard this same “loud voice” as they approach whale tree.

This is a voice that only Momo, his father and the “other man” can hear.

The “other man” is heavily hinted to be Gol D. Roger.

Remember, Gol D. Roger “found the text and followed it’s guidance”. This implies at some point he would have come across this new Red Poneglyph on Zou, giving him the opportunity to here its “voice”.

Note, it’s not until they are inside the tree that Nami can hear Raizou’s screams. This heavily suggests that the voice Momo can hear is not the screams of the ninja.

I am sure Momo can hear the voice of all things!!! And this ability allows him to hear the voice of the Poneglyph on zou and it’s voice is a voice that makes him feel physically ill.

And we learn that this poneglyph Momo can hear has a “different purpose” than the others.

To further my suspicions about Momo, he is not shown at all inside the Poneglyph chamber. This next chapter Momo will reveal that he can hear what the Poneglyph is saying, i’m sure.

So… What could this Poneglyph be saying??

It’s story makes Momo “uneasy” to the point that he feels “sick”. It’s also colored “deep red”. Perhaps you could even describe it as blood red…

I think that this red Poneglyph is a poneglyph that describes a story of death. Could it be a gruesome battle during the void century? Some catastrophe? Perhaps it may just be a representation of the many lives lost during the course of the void century.

My favorite idea, however, is that the Red Poneglyph specifically tells the sad story of Wano Kuni during the void century. Whereas most poneglyphs focus on the Ancient Kingdom and the general history of the void century. I think this is Wano’s Poneglyph.

It’s hard to be sure exactly though, but for sure, this Poneglyph does not contain good news.

Let me know what you think!

WHY THE ‘NATIONAL TREASURE’ ISN’T THE ANCIENT WEAPON URANUS

The Battle of Edd War was 27 years ago.

Roger was executed 24 years ago. Three years difference.

      Doflamingo is 41 years old.

      41 – 24 = 17

Doflamingo was around 17 when he witnessed Roger’s execution:

Doflamingo was 10 when he gained knowledge of the National Treasure and escaped from Mariejois.

At the time of the Battle of Edd War, he was around 14 (17 – 3).

Shiki claimed that Roger knew the location of the Ancient Weapon, but hadn’t said which one.

Roger doesn’t deny this and “I have no desire to rule, Shiki!” as well as “You can pressure me all you want,” implies that he can access it, because he rejects Shiki’s offer to use it to conquer the world.
      http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Edd_War

Shiki was informed that Roger knew the location of one Ancient Weapon.
I believe that this Ancient Weapon was the Uranus.

Let me explain why this Ancient Weapon was the Uranus, instead of the Pluton or the Poseidon, through deduction:

      – If Roger knew about the Pluton in Alabasta, then why didn’t Cobra mention Roger in the Tomb of the Kings?
Why did Cobra not have a saddened/noticeable expression when he read that Roger was executed?
Instead, he was more worried about the ‘terrible age’ that would begin.

Sure, Roger could’ve used the “voice of all things” to find and gain passage underneath the Tomb, and then used the same ability to learn the location of the Pluton from the poneglyph inside.

      The Tomb Of The Kings

But this is highly unlikely and very far-fetched because he wouldn’t have known the secret entrance to the underground of the Tomb to start with; we also don’t know much about his VOAT ability – how he used it and such.

      Robin Examining The Pluton Poneglpyh

      • If he read the blueprints of the ‘Second Pluton’, then he didn’t know the ‘location‘ of the Pluton, but the design of it from the blueprints.
Furthermore, it’s been hinted many times that the Pluton in Alabasta will be found and awakened by a group with bad intentions (WGor Blackbeard?), prompting the use of the ‘Second Pluton’ to counter it.
So Roger did not have a newly-created ‘Second Pluton’, as there was no need to build it at that time, so he couldn’t have known the ‘location‘ of it.
      http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Pluton

      The Pluton’s Blueprint

This is all still debatable as Tom didn’t let just anyone examine it; but then again, Roger had befriended him, with Tom having built the Oro Jackson for him.
      http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Gol_D._Roger

Thus it’s fair to say that Roger didn’t know the exact location of either of the Plutons.

      – Roger probably knew the general location of the Poseidon from the poneglyph in Shandora, but he possibly knew that he couldn’t find it since it hadn’t been born yet, and thus he didn’t know the exact location of it, therefore I doubt it was this Ancient Weapon.

The Golden Belfry & Its Poneglyph

      Robin Examining The Belfry’s Poneglyph

      Roger’s Inscription Besides The Poneglyph

Perhaps when he went to Fishman Island he realised that the Poseidon wasn’t anywhere to be found.

The Oro Jackson Under The Ocean

Remember when Rayleigh said that “perhaps we […] were too impatient“.
It possibly meant that they were too early, one of the reasons being because:

The Battle of Edd War was 27 years ago.
      Roger died 24 years ago.
Shirahoshi was born 16 years ago.

It’s impossible for Roger to have found the Poseidon – he was going to die from his disease soon and the Poseidon would be born 11 years later after the Battle of Edd War; he left this job to a pirate with his will (Luffy) who would be around when the Poseidon would.
      http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Poseidon

      Princess Shirahoshi: Poseidon

      This leaves the Uranus.

People theorise that it’s the mysterious egg on Roger’s ship, which I strongly disagree with, and I’ll post all of the reasons why on another thread next time – there’s an interesting theory I have. It links with a Ghibli film.

The Egg On The Oro Jackson In The Episode

The Egg On The Oro Jackson In The Manga

For a start, Shiki and Roger spoke as if the latter knew the ‘location‘ of it, not as if he actually had it with him – the red-polka-dotted eggwas with Roger on the Oro Jackson, so it can’t be the Uranus.

But then again there were different translations – some say he found it, but most say that he knew the location. So we’ll go with the latter.

The Egg On The Oro Jackson In The Merchandise

People theorise that it’s the National Treasure located within Mariejois, which I also disagree with.
      http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Mariejois

Considering that Roger had the location and (implied) access to the Uranus when Doflamingo was around 14, while he was still blackmailing the Celestial Dragons with the National Treasure, how could the Uranus be the National Treasure?

Roger and Shiki spoke as if the former could access it any time – wouldn’t that be difficult if the Uranus was in Mariejois?

Doflamingo informed the readers about the National Treasure at the age of 41, saying that he still used the knowledge of the NT to blackmail the CD, the WG and their affiliates.

      Doflamingo’s Trump Card

So 41 – 10 = 31 –> for 31 years Doflamingo had been blackmailing the Celestial Dragons, even while the Battle of Edd War was raging, so the National Treasure is still within Mariejois.

If the National Treasure had to be something, it’d have to be something that they themselves created or stole long ago – what it could be:

      • Something, possibly a weapon, that the 19/20 Kings used to help them defeat the Ancient Kingdom, thus why it’s heralded by Doflamingoas the “national treasure” (implying that the Celestial Dragons do so too and thus take pride in it since it helped them defeat the AK)

Don’t trust me on this though, this is only a wild guess. I’m clueless.[A key to the Uranus? I disagree because there are no keys to activate Poseidon.] [Sure, the description that Doflamingo gives of the National Treasure reminds us of the description of the Ancient Weapons, but that still doesn’t prove anything except that all of these things share being able to ‘shake the public world’ in common.] [Before arguing that “After Roger died, the World Government took control of the Uranus from Roger, and that became the National Treasure.” notice that it’s obvious from this thread that the Celestial Dragons had the National Treasure long before the Battle of Edd War, asDoflamingo was 10 when he gained knowledge of it and the Battle of Edd War was when he was around 14.]

      To conclude:

      • Roger had (implied) access to the Ancient Weapon, most likely Uranus, back when Doflamingo was still blackmailing the Celestial Dragons with the knowledge of the National Treasure hidden in Mariejois, and thus this proves that the Uranus and the National Treasure are two different things.
      • I believe that the egg on Roger’s ship wasn’t the Uranus either, as Roger supposedly only knew the location of it – like I said, I’ll expand on this in another thread later.

        DONQUIXOTE DOFLAMINGO=EMPEROR COMMODUS?

This theory is based on the possibility that the character Donquixote Doflamingo was inspired by/based on the ancient Roman Emperor Commodus. This can perhaps shed some light on Doflamingo’s character in the near future, or just make for an interesting comparison (I hope :lmao:). There are parallels between Dressrossa and Ancient Rome too that can perhaps explain why Commodus may have been an inspiration for Doffy, but I placed that section at the very end. I will try my best to condense/expand it in the coming few days, any suggestions would be much appreciated!

        Commodus & Doflamingo

Emperor Commodus was notorious for his behaviour and government decisions. Ancient Roman historians credit him for transforming Rome “from a kingdom of gold to one of iron and rust” (Cassius Dio).

Similarly Doflamingo’s rise to power in Dressrosa brought about a lot of tragedy. Commodus, unlike most of his predecessors was born into the imperial family, the son of Marcus Aurelius, he viewed the throne as his birthright and did not bother to justify his actions. Sounds familiar?

Like Doflamingo being a Celestial Dragon and not understanding why he should be deprived of his birthright. Similarly Marcus Aurelius was known for his humanity, a bit like Donquixote Homing. Commodus was unpopular with the ruling elite (Donquixote and Riku family) but was very popular with the Army and the common people (in large part thanks to his elaborate gladiatorial games).

Commodus had a twin brother who died in his youth and numerous sisters. He executed both of his brother-in-laws, cousin for conspiring against him and there are rumours that he killed his father (this rumour was adopted into the movie “The Gladiator”). Thus like Doflamingo, he committed patricide and to a certain extent, fratricide as well.

Early on in his life Commodus was supposedly led astray by his companions and “through them that he at first, out of ignorance, missed the better life and then was led on into lustful and cruel habits, which soon became second nature.” (Cassius Dio). This is similar to how Trebol gifted Doffy the gun who then used to kill his own father and of course his younger brother (not sure if the gun was the same).

Commodus suffered from megalomania, strongly believing in his own god-like status, physical strength and superiority to everyone else. He possessed immense physical strength and often participated in the gladiatorial fights and hunts he staged for the people. It was more of a sport for him. Something we see in Doflamingo who takes on hits like nobody’s business, mostly fearless, immensely strong as well. Similarly the people closest to Commodus attempted to assassinate him, most notably his sisters and his mistress. The people closest to Doflamingo attempt to do the same, Rocinante, Baby 5, Law. Other assassination plots failed too, as Commodus survives and seeks revenge. Similar to how Doflamingo survives the murder attempt(s) from Mariejois and seeks vengeance on the Celestial Dragons.
In the end, Commodus is strangled by his wrestling partner and after his death he is declared as a public enemy by the government who destroy all his statues.

What could this mean for Doflamingo?

I think Doflamingo will probably not end up in Impel Down, he will either be killed on the way there (CP0? Kaido?Blackbeard?) or somehow escapes before his arrival there and will meet his end elsewhere in the New World.
His death would cause chaos in the underground network and will end an era of the stable rule of the Yonkos. Just how Commodus’ death marked the end of an entire dynasty. I added Blackbeard as one of the potential killers because we all know how he likes to take advantage of someone’s weakened position and is on the hunt for powerful devil fruits and he String-String fruit is definitely an unusual one.

It will act as a trigger for supernovas to take action (as some of them have begun already) against the Yonkou and WG. A war between various pirate factions will be a possibility too. A point of no return of sorts for the “old powers” in the New World, the beginning of their decline. Just how Commodus’ reign and death was said to begin the end of the Roman Empire.

        Dressrosa & Ancient Rome

I know most people say that Dressrosa is meant to be Spain, but to me it seemed encompass a general Mediterranean theme and Spain was part of the Roman empire and thus still has various monuments in the Greco-Roman style. The vibrant colours, climate, passion (regional stereotype) architectural elements and so on reflect that pretty well.
But the moment I saw the aerial view of Dressrosa it really reminded me of the models of ancient Rome.

Corrida Colosseum is a given of course, it even ends up mimicking the damage of the real Colosseum after Pica goes berserk. Interestingly, the real Colosseum was damaged by an earthquake (earth damage/shifts parallels Pica’s power in a way).

The underground part of Corrida Colosseum with all its corridors and cages is inspired by the underground network of its real-life counterpart and both can get filled with water.

But the Corrida Colosseum in Dressrosa is a perfect example of the classic Roman political tool: Bread and Games. A tool used by every self-respecting, ambitious Roman politician since way back when. Similarly Doflamingo, keeps the people in Dressrosa happy with grand architecture and spectacles on the arena, distracting them from the dark side of the reality. Perhaps it is not a coincidence for this arc to have so many parallels with ancient Roman history and some of its historical figures. That’s about it. Let me know your thoughts and thank you for reading it! :>

          ZOU, THE LIVING PONEGLYPH

I made a couple conclusions after thinking about last chapter:

          – Unless Oda is being a massive troll, we can assume Sanji got captured in some way.

          Immagine16
          – It’s confirmed that Jack is no longer on Zou.
          – The Mink (other than the guards) seemed rather relaxed. That leaves me to believe that there is no IMENENT threat to them as of right now. Also meaning there is no major antagonist on the island at this very moment.
          – Chopper was dressed up as a King and the Strawhats were welcomed like royalty with banquet and all.

Following these conclusions i started thinking about what is left to do on Zou. Zou seems like too unique of an island to just hop on, find out about Sanji, and then hop off to go find him. Even if Nami presumes Sanji is dead instead of just captured, Luffy and Zoro (we all know Zoro and Sanji secretly have a bromance) would leave for revenge immediately imo.

So there’s no threat or antagonist right now and when everyone is filled in about Sanji next chapter the Strawhats won’t have time to celebrate with the Mink for too long. Is that all there will be to Zou?

My answer is no and here is why i think why:

I think Zou, or Zunisha, is a living poneglyph. Not like any other poneglyph where text is inscribed into a special rock/stone. The “poneglyph” im talking about is Zunisha’s memory. Zunisha is a ancient elephant that lived over a thousand years. As everyone concluded by now, Zunisha was around during the void century 800 years ago. It experienced what happened during that time. Specifically what happened to the Minkmen during this age.

One of the characteristics of elephants is that they have an amazing memory. I’d say this is needed if u want to recall something that happened 800 years ago. Is it a coincedence that the ancient creature who was around during the void century, also has this characteristic unique to it’s species? It might be, but i’d like to think not.

So poneglyphs are normally Robin’s specialty, but in this case it’s time for Chopper to shine. Chopper hasn’t really had much spotlight in the New World. The only thing of importance he has done in the NW is taking care of the kids on Punk Hazard. I think it’s about time for him to get a moment of great significance.

As we all know, Chopper can talk to animals. Correct me if i’m wrong here, but i believe Chopper is the only creature in the One Piece world that can communicate with ALL other living creatures. That also means he is the only one who could translate between animals and humans or translate from Zunisha to Robin and the rest. Is it a coincedence that the only one who could possibly translate Zunisha’s memories is a Strawhat? Maybe, but the coincedences are stacking up.

I even believe it’s possible that Chopper has already spoken to or translated for Zunisha and that’s the reason why Chopper is dressed as a King.

Pedro & his importance for the Zou Arc

Pedro is going to be very influential with this arc. This is a fact. Oda has pointed to this on several occasions already and he’s only made brief cameos.

There are several locations in Zou that label parts of Zunisha the elephant. The 806th chapter is titled “at the Fort on the Right Belly”. There are also locations on Zunisha including: Right Rump Forest, Right Flank Forest and Kurao City is on the Left Belly. Why is this significant? Well, for a couple of reasons. Firstly, we must look at Kanjurou’s cat called Nekozaemon

The name translates to Guardian Cat. The popular names Jinzaemon and Mataemon mean Left Guardian and Right Guardian. Zou is geographically mapped with reference to the left and right sides of Zunisha. This clearly means Oda is referencing and linking the Forest Guardians to the geography of the Island. More specifically, the Guardian Cat. This Guardian Cat is none other than Pedro

Pedro is cleaarly one of the Guardians of the forest. He clearly also has authority over Blackback and Roddy, two of the other Forest Guardians, as we can see in chapter 805 as he commands the guardians to leave.

Therefore, he’s clearly an incredibly authoritative and likely powerful character and figure amongst the Mink tribe.

Nekomamushi is “the big boss” of the Island, as we learnt in the most recent chapter.

Due to the fact the name includes the word Neko, or “Cat”, Pedro and Nekomamushi are likely to be related. Of course, this isn’t the only instance where Oda has used animal characteristics in names. Wanda is a play on the onomatopoeia of a Dogs bark, Carrot is clearly associated with Rabbits, amongst other examples is Blackback being a play on the word of Silverback. Oh, and I must also note that Pedro means Rock.

This parallels with the Lion King story. Why? Well, we have Pedro, a Lion, who’s name means rock

and we have a father figure as well. The Dukedom of Zou has been overrun by Jack and completely razed to the ground by Jack. This lightly parallels at Scar, who fought with Simba, the plotline is to take back the Pride Rock for his own. Jack is likely heir to the throne the same way Simba was, based upon his relation with Nekomamushi. Jack fought Pedro and eventually captured him. This, we know, is because of all the claw marks and the scene in Wandas flashback from this chapter

            [IMG] [IMG]

And yes, before anyone starts making strange remarks about him being a Tiger. A tiger has stripes, Pedro does not. Pedro shares several features with Lions. This includes the following:

            • Pedro’s long hair is basically a Lions mane
            • Pedro has long lower canines, as do Lions
            • They have the same mouth style and shaped ears
            [IMG]

So in conclusion: Pedro is the heir to rule Zou, but he’s been deposed by someone, the likely arc villain. His father is Nekomamushi, the current King/the recently dethroned King. Pedro is the strongest Forest Guardian and the most authoritative of them all. He is inspired by Simba from the Lion King and has a tumultuous past. He’s incredibly important to the Zou arc.

              The Whale Forest in Zou

              *Chapter 804 Spoiler

The Whale Forest, and the Whale tree particularly caught my eye in chapter 804. It was the center of the panoramic panel and is incredibly obscure and strange, which makes me believe there is some immense significance to this strange Whale.

I’ve had a belief for a while, following the ideas of the Great Trees in One Piece, that there are three Great Trees that produce different Devil Fruits. We already know about The Treasure Tree Adam (Strongest Tree) the Tree of Knowledge (containing the worlds greatest Library) and Sunlight Tree Eve (Providing light at the bottom of its roots in the ocean). Now, what do they all have in common?

They’re all part of the Garden of Eden. The scene of the bible in which the first man and woman were born. Adam and Eve. The tree of knowledge was also one of the trees in the Garden of Eden. There was another tree called the Tree of Life. The tree of life is often considered to be just one tree in the One Piece world. But the Tree of Life had three distinct features:
              1. Animals were drawn to it
              2. It was immune to the elements, e.g. wind, lightning, fire etc.
              3. It supposedly represents an immaculate state of a pure humanity, free from corruption and original sin before all

Now, the tree grew its own fruits as well. This is crucial.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, I believe that the tree of Life is embodied in three seperate Devil Fruit trees in the One Piece world. Each feature of the tree represents or bares similarities to each type of Devil Fruit. The fact animals were drawn to the tree represents Zoan (Animal) Devil Fruits. The immunity to the elements represents Logia (Element) Devil Fruits and the representation of purer humanity represents Paramecia (Superhuman) Devil Fruits.

So why do I think it’s the Zoan Devil Fruit tree? Several reasons:

              • It’s a Whale and a Tree at the same time
              • The residents of Zou take on animalistic features. The Mink Tribe may have developed these characteristics over 1000 years due to some weird scientific bullshit anomaly as a result of the tree being there. If Mink men originate from and only come from Zou, this isn’t just a coincidence
              • Zo means Elephant (the island is an elephant). Zoa is an animal of a specified kind. Zoanthropy is a mental illness whereby somebody thinks they are an animal. Some cases have resulted in these people having surgery to look like these animals. This may be inspiration for the Minkmen

I also believe it could be the source of Zoan devil fruits due to plot relevance. I mean, Caesar, the leading producer and researcher of SMILE (artificial Zoans) is on the island! Kaidou, likely the worlds strongest Zoan, who has an army of Zoan fruit eaters is now getting more involved and has subordinates on the Island as well

Let alone the fact everyone on the island, and the island itself is an animal!

WHY DEVIL FRUIT USERS SINK IN WATER: SECRET OF SEASTONE AND MORE

Hello once again everyone and welcome back to yet another theory for your entertainment. This I shall be going into further detail as to why devil fruit users sink in water and the secret of seastone.

As you obviously know, devil fruit users sink in water but what you may not know is that water doesn’t neutralize devil fruit powers.

Luffy’s stretched arm was underwater but shouldn’t it have neutralize his powers and cause his arm to retract? There is also this:

Aokiji fell into the water but inside of his power being neutralized, he used his ice to make it to the surface.

Here, Luffy is completely submerged in water but he cold still stretch.

Water simply weakens devil fruits but still why? There is also the fact that seastone COMPLETELY neutralizes devil fruits powers but it has the “essence of the sea.” Also, unlike water, when DF users wear seastone, they can still move.

What is the “essence of the sea”?

                Gravitation or more simply, Gravity.

Kaku said he felt a “gravitational force” coming from the devil fruits.

At first you would he meant it as an expression, but Kaku’s senses are quite good which made me think that he meant it literally. He was able to feel Zoro’s demon spirit.

Law felt a similar force coming from seastone.

The main reason I believe gravity is why devil fruit users sink and has their powers neutralized by seastone is none other than Marshall D. Teach, better known as Blackbeard.

“Darkness” is gravitation and everyone knows what the special ability of the Darkness fruit is…

Neutralizing devil fruits powers via physical contact.

Now then, the tricky part was finding the actual relationship between water and gravity as a lot of factors fall into play such as mass, pressure and density. There is also the fact that there is less gravity underwater so get ready for a science trip.

Blackbeard’s darkness is a black hole.

A black hole pulls an object in and once inside, the object is crushed under the immense gravity or pressure.

Seawater is more dense than fresh water(because of salt) so its easier for a human to float, but seawater has more pressure than fresh water as you go deeper. This is referred to as specific gravity, which is the ratio of the density of a substance to the density (mass of the same unit volume) of a reference substance.

The devil fruits contain the souls of people who lived in space. Space has less pressure and gravity(compared to Earth or Vearth). On Earth, gravity gives weight to physical objects and causes the tides so naturally, the souls of the space people should feel extra pressure. Gravity has an infinite range, and it cannot be absorbed, transformed, or shielded against. When submerged underwater, the souls would feel even more pressure.

It is also worth noting that the Darkness fruit was the first devil fruit to exist and it has power over gravitation and every devil fruit afterwards gave off a gravitational force. Seastone has a gravitational force similar to a black hole so like the Darkness fruit, it “sucks in ” devil fruit power and neutralizes it(cause of the immense pressure it puts on devil fruit souls).

Lets sum up everything. The devil fruit soul is like a parasite and the devil fruit user is a host. In a way, the parasite and the host share the same body.

Water- When in water, the host and the parasite feel pressure(the parasite even more so) but since they share the same body, the host feels the same effects of the parasite but can still use his/her abilities
(because its only a little pressure).

Pretty much, Blackbeard is walking seastone as they have the same effects on DF users. On the surface, they focus entirely on the parasite and uses the effects of a black hole and apply immense pressure on it. The parasite is suppressed while the host is just fine which is why they are able to move with seastone cuffs. Remember when Blackbeard black vortex against Ace? Ace felt pressure and was sucked in but when BB grabbed Ace he was fine, but the “parasite” was not. Why? Because BB’s body is still a black hole(when he uses his ability, he simply brings the black hole to the surface to affect people).

                  RAIZO THE NINJA ASSASSIN

As we know, in chapter 803 this character was name dropped by Kin’emon and Kanjuro on the final page, he/she is their last comrade to find in their four person party.

I’ve done a little bit of digging around and found some very interesting links to Raizo’s name. Oda has, again, like with Kanjuro and Kin’emon, likely designed Raizo based upon a performer or actor, and their names all have implications and connotations that reside underlying their surfaces as characters. To demonstrate this, I must explain the other Samurai’s first:

                  Kin’emon and Momonosuke:

                  [IMG] mmmnnsskk[IMG]

-Their names in conjunction with eachother derive from Nakamura Kinnosuke, a Japanese actor that Oda is a massive fan of
-Nakamura Kinnosuke is a flatulist, like Kin’emon
                  -Nakamura looks like Kin’emon
-His favourite fruit was apparently peaches, Momo means peach, Momonosuke’s Kimono and Dragon form are peach coloured
-Nakamura Kinnosuke played the role of a Samurai in many movies, but he is noted for his role as a dual wielding Samurai
                  -Kin’emon has a Fox theme
                  -His epithet is “Foxfire

                  Kanjuro:

                  [IMG] [IMG]

-Kanjuro’s name means truth, “seen as it is visual”
-Although he isn’t specifically designed based upon an actor, his appearance draws many similarities with a Kabuki poser, a form of Japanese performing arts
-His talents in caligraphy strongly support this as Caligraphy is often used in Kabuki pieces, makeup also uses huge brushes, like the one he has on his back (obviously to a much smaller scale though)
                  -Kanjuro has a Bird theme
                  -His epithet is “Evening Shower

                  Raizo:

                  [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

-His/her name is the same as a Ninja character from a movie called Ninja Assassin
-He/she is likely named after Raizo Ichikawa, an actor which Oda is a huge fan of, Raizo Ichikawa has been a ninja in the Shinobi no Mono movies
-In the Ninja Assassin movie, the character Raizo is played by a Korean Popstar called Rain
-Funnily enough, in the Shinobi no Mono movies, Ichikawa’s character, called Goemon, had the epithet, “of the rain

So, based upon these facts, what do we know?
-Kin’emons epithet implied he could use fire, we now know he can fight using flames in conjunction with his swords, Kanjuro’s epithet in japanese culture (not ours) implies honesty and truth which is represented visually through his caligraphy, Raizo’s epithet implies he/she can use waterin some way shape or form
-Given the roles of named characters associated with Raizo, he specialises as an assassin

The two known epithets mean it’s highly likely the Wano resident friends of ours are based on a Japanese folklore phenomena called Kitsune no Yomeiri. During wedding processions, paper lanterns can be seen floating away into the darkness, known as atmospheric ghost lights, these are nicknamed the “evening sunshower”. Kitsune means firefox and it is said that Kitsune uses trickery on people to hide his own existence, very similar to Kin’emon and Kanjuro. A Kabuki theatre piece known as Kitsune no Yomeiri Gyoretsu is performed widely. The link here is interesting, and there is a third component to the myth: Shintoist rituals relating to the myths to prevent Kitsune’s interference in Shintoist weddings.

The last component, in my opinion implies two things:

                  1. Raizo is possibly female, due to the wedding themes and the possibility of Kitsune (Kinemon’s) interference (in some cases fooling the bride by replacing the husband)
                  2. Raizo is Shintoist and designed on Shintoist monks, many of whom were and still are trained in Ninja arts (this is not to be confused with the Ninja clan that is long dead)

So what do we know? If my theory is correct, Raizo:

                  • Is quite possibly Female but will have an outward appearance of a man
                  • Is Shintoist and could look like this
                    [IMG]
                  • Fights with Water
                  • Has the epithet “of the Rain”

                    SEVENTH SHICHIBUKAI FINALLY REVEALED

Others have tried to crack the seventh Shichibukai for awhile. Now it’s my turn. Who is the seventh Shichibukai? Many believe he is a brand new character, however, I only half agree. While the seventh character is new to the manga, he isn’t new to the OP universe. I’m talking about Shiki.

I mentioned Shiki’s return in another theory before, so I’ll transfer info here.

So first thing is first, why did Oda bothered mentioning Shiki? It doesn’t make any since for useless info to be added. Knowing Oda, he just doesn’t add unnecessary info to his story. Shiki has some kind of significant purpose outside his feat of breaking out of Impel Down.

We know Shiki is cannon thanks to Oda and that the early events before the story started actually occurred. The movie Strong World on the other hand is not cannon and should be completely disregarded. We also know Zephyr as a character is cannon, with his Z movie also not considered cannon like Strong World. Zephyr was an Admiral for the Marines until he left after losing his men to the very person who became the seventh Shichibukai.

                    Now look right here:
                    x
                    Now look here:

Shiki the Golden Lion has been around for a long time. Zephyr in the movie died at 74. He was an admiral at 38 and an instructor at 41. That’s a 36 year gap to be filled.

Now Shiki competed with Roger during his days of piracy. Considering how he talks to Whitebeard (example shown below) and the fact that he fought Roger on equal grounds comes to tell you that Shiki is no pushover. But what if Shiki was responsible for causing the incident to Zephyr and was the one who cut his arm off? Shiki is a swordsman after all, though now his swords are his legs.

Shiki marched straight into the former Marine HQ and slaughtered a mountain of marines. It took Sengoku and Garp to bring him down, and he still escaped after being thrown into the impenetrable fortress that is the Impel Down. So this doesn’t surprise me if Shiki toppled Zephyr in a fight.

Let’s continue about Shiki. Last time we saw him, he was on a jungle island somewhere in the Grand Line, it could be Paradise or the New World, it never mentioned which.
                    hy
But what if this island was actually Zou.

Yes, the mountains look slightly different with the 785 chapter showing an unusual tree species than the Strong World chapter. But also look here:

Who is he/she? (Looks like a she to me) She may be a result of Shiki’s planning.

Note a lot could change, and the mountain could have suffered physical alterations (highly doubt it), but keep Zou in mind. Say Shiki is on Zou, the seventh Shichibukai is yet to be fully revealed. Based on how Oda is introducing these new characters, I am expecting the seventh Shichibukai and third Admiral within the next two-to-four arcs.

                    Look here:
okAll these characters are only being shown their heads, not their full bodies. Notice what is under Buggy’s head, we have something “furry” of some sort shown. Some are saying that it’s part of Buggy’s shoulder wear. Others claim its Doflamingo’s coat. I say it is neither, it is the seventh Shichibukai. Let’s do an elimination, don’t we?
The marines and revolutionaries have their own panels, so I will eliminate any possibility of them being that “fur” thing. Here are the Yonko:
                    • Shanks
                    • Big Mam
                    • Kaido
                    • Blackbeard
                    Shichibukai:
                    • Doflamingo Donquixote
                    • Dracule Mihawk
                    • Boa Hancock
                    • Bartholomew Kuma
                    • Trafalgar Law
                    • Buggy
                    • Unknown Shichibukai
                    Worst Generation:
                    • Monkey D Luffy
                    • Roronoa Zoro
                    • Eustass Kidd
                    • Killer
                    • Basil Hawkins
                    • Scratchmen Apoo
                    • Trafalgar Law
                    • X Drake
                    • Urouge
                    • Jewelry Bonney
                    • Capone Bege

As you see, everyone above except the seventh and Doflamingo has their face shown. But that “furry” thing isn’t Doflamingo specifically because the pattern of Doflamingo’s coat and the “fur” object are different. It isn’t Jack either because he shares the same pattern as Doflamingo.

Notice how in both pictures, the coats appear more feather-like rather than a downward spike pattern. But look at Shiki’s hair:

A perfect match from a cone top to a spread as the pattern descends.

With the text bubble in the way, likely on purpose, any evidence of a steering wheel lodged in the way is none. This is likely as Oda doesn’t want us to guess who the last Shichibukai really is, and Shiki’s twenty year old plan will finally come to play during Luffy’s era.

An extra side note, unrelated to the theory, look at the head underneath Akainu next to Fujitora and Kizaru. No doubt that is the thrid Admiral. Keep your eyes out for character with curly dark hair.

Anyway, back to topic, Zephyr left the marines because of the injustice of allowing the seventh Shichibukai to join the ranks of exempt pirates. To be a Shichibukai you have to be well-known with a threat that can put fear among other pirates. But why would Shiki want to join the very group of people that were responsible for Roger’s death. Well he has something planned, and he means to show the world the true terror of a pirate. If you ask me, he will play a significant role in the initiation of the Throne Wars described by Doflamingo, and against the Worst Generation, the Yonko, and the Shichibukai, he will open a wrath unlike any other seen in One Piece. What is he planning? Whatever it is, he is likely pulling a Blackbeard in using his special status.

Before I end this, there begs one last question. Why would the WG allow Shiki to join the Shichibukai? Well he does meet the qualifications to become one, he is also on par with the Yonko as far as strength goes. If anything, the WG were probably desperate for the power needed to fill in the missing strength gap that Aokoji, Blackbeard, Gecko Moriah and Crocodile left vacant. This leaves the WG bouncing back from an almost ruptured power-struggle.

                    To rap things up:
                    • Shiki is back
                    • Shiki is the seventh Shichibukai
                    • Shiki is responsible for cutting Zephyr’s arm
                    • Shiki may be on Zou
                    • Shiki will be revealed in the next arc or two

                    And done…
