ONE PIECE GOLDHello once again everyone and welcome back to another theory for your entertainment. This time I shall talking about the future of Dellinger.
Dressrosa shares a lot of parallels with Alabasta and that obviously includes Baroque Works and the Donquixote Pirates. In Alabasta, the high ranking members of Baroque Works were still active while the lower rankings ones retired to normal lives. I think the DD family will be the opposite with the top exectuives being captured and the lower ranking members escaping and getting involved with other things in the New World as pirates.
Dellinger is obviously half-fishman and from the fighting fish bloodline:
And Dellinger will have an encounter with one of or both of these two men:
Why? Because he is a human-fishman hybrid. One of his parents was a human and the other was a fighting fish fishman.
Remember the goal of Queen Otohime and Fisher Tiger?
Humans fear fishman and fishman hate humans but Otohime and Tiger believed that both races can live together under the sun, as long as the younger generation isn’t tainted by the fear and hate. The Sun symbolizes freedom which is why Tiger, a former slave, called his crew the Sun Pirates.
Dellinger is living proof that humans and fishman CAN get along and that the dream of bathing together in the sun is possible.
Also, there is a reason I used panels of Jinbe and Arlong from 16 years ago. Dellinger himself is 16 years old and you know what happened 16 years ago?
Fisher Tiger raided Mariejois and freed many slaves fishmen and humans alike. I think Dellinger’s parents were slaves who grew close to each other, experience the same pain and knowing who the true monsters were. However, whether they escaped Mariejois, made it to North Blue or whatever the circumstances were, the “fact” is that Dellinger’s parents died which left Dellinger an abandoned infant in North Blue.
That is where Dellinger was brought in by Jora(who noticed his horns) and was Pink glorified(Infant Dellinger is to the right b Jora and Corazon).
Jinbe would surely want to put Dellinger on the right path but someone like Arlong would probably view Dellinger as an abomination. Will Arlong try to kill Dellinger for having human blood? Or try to use him because he has fishman blood?
